The business opportunity is threefold. Consumers purchase the MyChoice Card, offering discounts on goods and services from local and online merchants. Participating “brick and mortar” businesses offer cardholders a discount at the point of purchase; shopping at the online virtual mall earns consumers a discount on every purchase; purchases made from the IPTV Shopping Channel will be discounted beyond the usual discounted prices offered by other shopping channels; and stores exclusive to MyChoice cardholders are currently being developed in communities, promising quality merchandise at significant savings. Consumers purchase the card for $30/year (currently there is a promotion extending the card for two years). MyChoice offers an online directory of participating merchants.
IPTV
This customer-owned, interactive set-top box with a monthly subscription grants exclusive access to a virtual mall as well as to the IPTV Channel, enabling consumers to make purchases directly by swiping their credit cards. The MyChoice Card is included.
