About Nikken
Nikken sells various products that contain magnets, as well as nutritional supplements and items made with ceramic-reflective fibers that purportedly support an ideal body temperature. The company was founded in 1975 in Japan by Isamu Masuda. Using the inspiration of the pebbled surface found at the bottom of a Japanese public bath, he designed the first product, the Magstep. Several products followed and by 1989, the company spread its business to North America.

The product line includes insoles, jewelry, massagers and chair pads that contain magnets. Other products include support wraps, sleep systems and fitness products, nutritional supplements, skin care and pet care items. Additionally, the company sells clothing made with ceramic-reflective fibers claimed to maintain and support an ideal body temperature. The company uses a variety of research and technologies to develop products. These include advanced magnetic technology, magnetic biaxial rotation, RAM technology, negative ion technology and Kenko sleep technology.
