About Tealightful Treasures
Tealightful Treasures was founded in 2000 in Rochester, New York by Charlene Phillips.. The company sells products centering around coffee, tea and other special beverages, and has branched out in recent years to gourmet food, giftware and tableware.
All products are sold through consultants, either at tea parties which are hosted in someone’s house, or through the company website – if people do not know a consultant, then the company will refer people to their nearest local consultant to place the order.
Anyone who wishes to join the company as a representative can sign up on the website, or under a local consultant. A Starter pack is issued to all consultants, who can then go on to take bigger orders depending on demand. Commissions come from profits made on sales, and all consultants have their own personal websites from which people can place orders.
The company’s philosophy is focused on emphasizing the concepts of friendship, relaxation and tradition, and selling people products which will help to bring them together.
Tealightful Treasures is a member of the Direct Sellers Association, the Direct Selling Women’s Association and the Specialty Tea Institute.
