About Team Beachbody
Team Beachbody is the direct sales arm of Product Partners, LLC, creators of the Beachbody fitness programs. The company was started in 1998 by Jon Congdon and Carl Daikeler and sells at-home fitness workout systems and videos, nutritional supplements, and workout gear. Its first product was the Power 90 (now called P90X) in-home boot camp workout created by Tony Horton, personal trainer and owner of ASH Fitness. Although Product Partners, LLC has been engaging in direct sales of their products for about twelve years, Team Beachbody is fairly new, having been around for only about 2 years. The company is entering Phase II of their rollout of the program, recruiting direct sellers whom they call Coaches.
