About Viridian

Viridian Energy was founded in 2009 by Michael Fallquist in Stamford, Connecticut. The company is a supporter of green energy, and produces energy which either meets or exceeds a proposed federal goal for 20% renewable energy by 2020. The company states on the website that at a minimum, they meet the 20%, and that unlike other companies who are doing the same, they take fewer profits in order to keep costs down and attract people who are looking to save money.

Most people opt to join the Viridian Energy network as customers to enjoy the cheaper energy bills and the fact that the company is determined to protect the environment as much as possible by using sustainable and renewable forms of energy. The company offers people an opportunity to work as a Viridian Associate, where essentially they gain commission for every household and business that switches from another provider to Viridian.

The company is currently only operational in three states: Connecticut, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Viridian Services

The company offers only one product; electricity derived from as many renewable energy sources as possible. Customers receive only one bill per month. People can opt for one of two plans:

  • Everyday Green (20% renewable energy)
  • Pure Green (100% renewable energy)
