Vorwerk Kobold
The first hand-held vacuum cleaner in Germany, the Kobold was created and manufactured by the company in 1929 and has been its flagship product ever since. The product is light weight, long lasting, and multifunctional. The vacuum deep cleans and has microfilters designed to reduce allergens in the home.
Thermomix
This is marketed as a multifunctional kitchen appliance. The Thermomix can weigh, chop, mix, stir, cut, grate, pulverize, knead, emulsify food and then cooks it. In addition to making soups and stews, the appliance can also be used to make desserts, sauces and drinks.
Verwork Carpets
This is another of the company’s flagship products. In addition to producing and installing a number of carpet patterns and styles, the company also sells area rugs. Their carpet is the only one to have been given the official seal of recommendation from the German Allergy and Asthma Sufferers Association.
Jafra Cosmetics
This company was started in 1955 by Jan and Frank Day. Verwork purchased it in 2004. The company markets its products primarily to women, via direct sales. The products are claimed to be natural and eco-friendly, made with ingredients like Royal Jelly. The line includes personal care, color cosmetics, skin care, and fragrances.
Lux Asia Pacific Group Water Filter
Vorwerk purchased this company, whose main product was a water filtering system, in 2001. The product is claimed to provide a reliable source of good clean water. Lux Asia also sells air purification systems, washers and dryers, and home cleaning systems.
