Westbend was formed in 1911 by seven men who worked together at the West Bend Aluminum Ware Company by the Milwaukee River in West Bend, Wisconsin. In the 1920s the company introduced a ‘waterless cooker’, a large pot with inset pans that could cook an entire meal without having to use lots of pots, and with little water.
Later, the company became a division of Regal Ware, Inc., America’s largest manufacturer for stainless steel cookware. The company’s products cannot be found in high street stores or internet distributors (e.g. Amazon) – instead, they are available from independent distributors. Anyone wishing to buy the products will need to find alocal distributor.

Chef Prep
