I have been in Amway for some time and have never heard that you had to have a certain number of customers and reach a certain level to begin sponsoring. I have had people that I sponsored one night sponsor someone else the next day. Check with the company on this, but unless things have changed and I missed it,I think you have been misinformed.

Adam was talking about Amway UK business. In USA/Canada, they don't have any restrictions like reaching certain level to sponsor people. But in UK, Yes ! It does. You need to be a Retail consultant first then qualify yourself to be CRC - (Certified Retail consultant for the calender year) to sponsor people. For that you need to have 5 retail customers total volume of minimum 150 pounds sales.
