The first day off was to spend with my family totally technology free (but we all kept our phones with us.) and the second day, I'm ashamed to say that I did absolutely nothing but post and respond to forum comments with other network marketers on Facebook in the groups. Something bothered me after that portion of my day was over... Not only did I feel like I wasted good time that could've been used to strengthen my financial foundation for my family some more, but you would not believe how many "network marketers" are in these groups posting and chatting away on Facebook ALL FREAKIN' DAY!!! It's obvious that the majority of them are not having any success from network marketing if they're tethered to Facebook all day, but I've gotta ask myself the question, "Why would anyone invest in a business they didn't plan on building it consistently?" GET OFF YOUR ASSES ALREADY PEOPLE!!!
This sadly perfect example of how to effectively waste time has inspired me to get "mo' busy" at building my business the right way. It's not a secret that I'm looking to personally add 150 new reps to "Team No-Hype" by December 15, 2011 and YOU may or may not be who I'm looking for, but I'm hungry!!! I had a newbie on my team ask me what all did he have to do to get started and to recruit massively. I told him that I didn't know, but (as I'm now gonna share with you) this is what I have done and still do to get after this business: Learn + Do + Teach + Repeat = SUCCESS So here are my 5 areas to develop daily:
1. PROSPECTING This is the life's blood of any successful network marketer. You can't call yourself a network marketing professional until you sponsor your very first rep, so GET OFF YOUR ASS AND CRUSH IT!!! The fastest way to make money and build a business of longevity is to keep inviting people to see your business. EXPOSURE EXPOSURE EXPOSURE is key!!! As professionals, we don't get paid for doing nothing... We get paid to produce results!!! Whether it's on the phone, internet, face-to-face, etc., always ask everyone if they're open to an opportunity and EXPOSE them to your business.
2. PRESENTING This is an exposure after you have piqued someone interest enough to lead them to an exposure. Doing presentations makes you focus more on getting prospects because it's not fun or profitable to present your multi-million dollar business to yourself. Besides, presenting your business in front of others gives you confidence with talking with people and learning more about the company. 3. CLOSING I love this one... Here's the secret stuff on closing: 3-Way Calls!!! If you are new in network marketing, after an exposure, plug your prospect into a 3-Way call with your upline, introduce through edification and SHUT UP AND LISTEN!!! If you're a network marketing veteran, then after an exposure, plug your prospect into a 3-Way call with your upline, introduce through edification and SHUT UP AND LISTEN!!! 3-Way calls CLOSE PROSPECTS, so GET OFF YOUR ASS AND USE THEM!!!
4. GETTING PEOPLE STARTED RIGHT!!! As a direct sponsor, you can't expect people to sign up and automatically hit the road recruiting, but for some weird reason, the majority of network marketing recruiters treat their new prospects exactly like this. Plug your new and existing team members into the same team building SYSTEM to ensure the team's success. They don't need to know everything under the network marketing sun', but just enough to work their warm market and get started with your help SPONSOR. Take massive baby steps...
