Read More: Yoli will celebrate it's first birthday tomorrow, Nov. 6th. I've been with the company since before the beginning and it's been one of the best years of my life. Here is a bit of a recap. Yoli launched with over 5,000 distributors and $1,000,000 in sales the first week. We had our first national convention in January with over 1,200 people in attendance and it was a fantastic event. In fact, I told a number of people that it was a better convention than some I had attended with 5 to 10 year old companies. In April, Yoli had it's first annual cruise on the Oasis of the Seas, the largest, most technologically advanced cruise ship on the planet and we had an incredible time. In July we had a big launch party in Hawaii and another fabulous time was had by all who attended.
Master marketer, Corey Citron put together some of the best tools in the industry - virtual office, web pages with video and trackable technology, professional full-color brochures, CD's, DVD's, logo merchandise, Yoli KOR bottles, and more. Corey and the Yoli founders also improved the company branding twice. During the year we introduced four products - Truth, our superfruit, antioxidant blast; Fun, our amazing hydrating sport drink; Alkalete capsules that are proven scientifically to reduce acid in the body by 50% or better; and Alkalete packets that you can put in coffee and other high acid foods to reduce the acid and improve the taste.
We also planted over 100,000 trees through the Trees for the Future program, which also helped many people in impoverished countries have jobs and improve their financial situation.
In September, we were selected as the company of the month by the Network Marketing Business Journal. Yoli has been featured in several other magazines, as well. Yoli has also entertained the top distributors in Utah at a number of Leadership Summits with fantastic food prepared by Laurie and Rick Eisele at the Yoli House, trips to Snowbird ski area, soccer and basketball games, and all kinds of great strategizing.
It truly has been an amazing first year and the exciting part is that similar to a one year old baby, Yoli is just beginning to walk. This next year is going to be even more amazing and I am so excited and proud to be a part of such an incredible company. I praise God every day for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
