Oh, you know how it goes. You get up at 3 in the morning for whatever reason (mine is usually to go to the bathroom). You stumble around in the dark to make it there, and then on your way back to bed, if not before... Wham!!! The biggest owee ever!!! Yes, it happened to me again the other night. I kicked the bed post and not with just one toe, but two. Can you believe it? What pain! Stubbed toes to me is one of the worst pains. And I think this was the worst time ever. Now I don't do this constantly, but even a couple times is too many!
I immediately sat on the side of my bed and grabbed my oils. I keep an array of Young Living Oils on the dresser and also on the chest of drawers. Thank heavens! First, I grabbed PanAway oil blend and put a couple drops over the toes and gently smeared it around. Then I put a couple drops of Peppermint over the toes, again gently smearing it around. And finally a couple drops of Lavender the same way. Now, I kid you not, ALL the pain went away in less than a couple minutes, maybe less. Plus, my toes did not get sore or bruise the next day. Amazing!
Why?? What is it about Young Living Essential Oils that would work that fast? In a nutshell, it's because they are genuine authentic grade A oils. From seed to seal, there is no other oils like them. I have used other essential oils in years past, with no where near this kind of results. And I want you to get results like me!
What to do for stubbed toes...these are the essential oils I used.
PanAway Essential Oil Blend -Reduces pain and inflammation, increases circulation, and accelerates healing. Relieves swelling and discomfort from arthritis, sprains, muscle spasms and cramps, bumps and bruises. Contains the essential oils of helichrysum, wintergreen, clove, and peppermint. 15 ml. Item No: 3390
Peppermint Essential Oil -Peppermint (Mentha piperita) has a strong, clean, fresh, minty aroma. Peppermint is one of my favorite oils for pain. It is one of the oldest and most highly regarded herbs for soothing digestion, it may also restore digestive efficiency.* Jean Valnet MD studied peppermints supportive effect on the liver and respiratory systems. Other scientists have also researched peppermints role in improving taste and smell when inhaled. Dr. William N. Dember of the University of Cincinnati studied peppermints ability to improve concentration and mental sharpness. Alan Hirsch MD studied peppermints ability to directly affect the brains satiety center, which triggers a sensation of fullness after meals. This powerful essential oil is often diluted before topical application. Peppermint may also be used to enhance the flavor of food and water. Peppermint has an approximate ORAC of 373,455 (TE/L). TE/L is expressed as micromole Trolox equivalent per liter. 15 ml. Item No: 3614
Lavender Essential Oil- Lavender is calming, relaxing, and balancing, both physically and emotionally. It is referred to as the Swiss Army Knife of essential oils. When in doubt about which oil to use, always use Lavender. It is great for the skin, for cuts, scrapes and bruising, which is why I applied it to my stubbed toes. 15 ml. Item No: 3575
