I Almost Didn't Try Magnetic Sponsoring

When I first started network marketing, the methods taught by my company did not work well for me. Actually I knew little about network marketing before I started. What attracted me was the company and the product. Everything about it was first class and I was quite excited about it. My initial plan was to begin with
selling the product and earning commissions.

However, there was quite little mention of this aspect of the business. For a variety of reasons I had a very small network. I soon found myself at sea, discouraged by the results.

My upline told me that I should go out and buy some opportunity leads. Since I started this business on a shoestring with virtually no budget for such promotions, I postponed doing that for a while. I really didn’t want to do cold-calling, as I had previous experience with it and knew it was very hard. So I continued trying to find local leads, putting out some advertising cards and fliers. But when that method failed, I next bought some worthless leads which only resulted in more rejection and wasting a bunch of money.
I could see the futility in this, and realized with nothing to show for it, I had to stop this foolishness before I went broke.

Along the way I had heard about Mike Dillard's Magnetic Sponsoring Course. I had seen it advertised many times before, though before I decided to look at it.

I'll have to admit, at first I didn't get it. Having had several previous profitable businesses, my thought was that anyone who profitable businesses I thought anyone who would spend six years like this must be nuts. So I didn't do anything with it, and slogged on with what I was doing. Meanwhile I tried going around to convenience stores and strip malls putting up fliers and passing out sizzle cards.

As the weather was getting hotter, I was not getting any closer to my goals. One weekend after I spent a morning going around to convenience stores in the grueling heat, I realized that something had
to change.

I came home and reread Magnetic Sponsoring again, and this time the idea of attraction marketing made more sense to me. I found Mike's ideas in Magnetic Sponsoring and the accompanying reports that were provided gave me a new perspective on my mlm business. Since then I have made many changes to get a new
direction in building my mlm business.
