Melaleuca, Inc. has received a number of awards since its inception. After landing on the Inc. 500 list of fastest growing companies from 1990-1994, in 2000 the company was inducted into the magazine’s Hall of Fame for making the list five years in a row. Ernst & Young named Frank VanderSloot Entrepreneur of the Year in 2001. Also in 2001 the Direct Selling Association presented Melaleuca the Excellence in Education award for encouraging and funding education. The mayor of Saint Paul, Minnesota declared June 30, 2006 Melaleuca Day in 2006. The Salvation Army gave the company the Others Award, its highest award, for its work with the Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. Recently, in 2009 Frank VanderSloot was once again named Entrepreneur of the Year by American Solutions.
