Robert L Montgomery, Founder, Chairman and CEO
Montgomery and his wife, Sandra, started Reliv in 1988 after experiencing firsthand the health benefits of nutritional supplements developed by their friend, Dr Ted P Kalogris. Montgomery’s previous experience was as Executive Vice President of Phoenix-based Modern Income Life Insurance Company, in which he was the second largest shareholder. Montgomery helped the company become a $250 million empire before leaving the firm in 1980 after selling his shares. He then started Spectrum Foods in 1981, a manufacturer of soy products, selling that firm in 1985. While benefitting from nutritional products during his recovery from brain surgery, Robert created the concept of Reliv International.

As the creator of the Reliv compensation plan, Sandra Montgomery plays a leading role in the long term planning of new products and marketing goals of the company.
Dr Carl W Hastings,Chief Scientific Officer and Vice Chairman
With a Doctorate in Food Science from Illinois University, Dr Hastings has 4 decades of experience in the research and development of food products. Prior to joining Reliv in 1988, he worked for Mead Johnson & Co., where he developed special low-calorie food for the Weight Watchers Lable, as well as nutritional food products for children and infants. He has received patents for nutritional supplements including Innergize, Cellebrate, FibRestore, ReversAge and Arthaffect, which he developed for Reliv International. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of The Council for Responsible Nutrition since 2009.
R Scott Montgomery, Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President and Chairman of Reliv Kalogris Foundation
Working with the firm since its inception, Scott Montgomery came on board full time in 1993. He is deeply involved in the day to day running of the business by keeping a track of operations in both domestic and international markets.
Ryan Montgomery, Executive Vice President Worldwide Sales
Son of founders Scott and Sandra Montgomery, Ryan joined the firm in 1999. He established the company’s first compliance department, and in 2004 joined the sales team to formulate global sales strategies and expand business in both domestic and international markets.
