I wouldn't say that it is a "bogus rumor" that they were selling AmeriPlan. Mark Jarvis was in the financing stages of the purchase, however that deal fell through. (Not fault of Mark's) So, at this time, Mark is not purchasing the company. That doesn't mean that there won't be changes in the future, just not happening now.:unsure:

Hi everyone!!

I'm so glad that I have found MS! I've been with AP (it's my first ever go at NM) for 1.5 years and I am honestly still struggling. I've just always felt that there has to be a better way, and I am so glad to have found MS, because it really seems to be the answer to my prayers. I know I have a lot of work ahead of me, but now I feel like I have the tools to do it, ya know!

Anyway, I don't think that my upline is using MS, or I'd hope they would have passed it down my way. I am honestly a little hesitant about sharing it, only because I'm not sure how it will be perceived by them. After all, like it is says in the beginning of the book, it is revolutionary, and some might be hesitant...

Either way, do you guys have any advise on how to present this info to my upline, because I really think that the team would benefit from the knowledge gained through this book and courses!

Never used their training, but I have heard of them, and seen what they offer first hand (forwarded to me from a customer to "review").

IMHO it is overpriced, undervalued, basic internet training course using questionable marketing techniques. They use standard tricks to "game" their own numbers, their metrics are deceptive at best, and just plain wrong at worst. Tagging techniques are "relics" and very unreliable, as they only work (when they actually work) with "obscure" terms. All of their "longtail keyword techniques" (for lack of a better term) to rank high, work with non substantial, almost non searched phrases (according to google trend numbers). The extreme "specificity" of these phrases allow these terms to rank high (and prove their point), but would not be common search "phrases" and would never be searched. In essence their pages would never show up on search engine results done by "real" people. The course itself comes with a couple of E-books (and I won't even comment on them), basic instructions on how to create a myspace page, youtube account, gmail/hotmail account, and some other basics like creating a fancy story (I mean something that was coined my story marketing....which is incredible that nearly everyone in that group has the same damn story....earning 5 figures a month or 6 a year...being tired, quitting....blah blah blah....) and links to 27+ odd youtube videos which do nothing more then attempt to sell other things which they receive affiliate commission from (like traffic geyser, friend blaster, etc).

MLM Goldmine if i'm not mistaken is the brainchild of Denis K. If you do a search on YouTube for mlm goldmine you find him everywhere.(unless they took off his numerous videos)

He happened to be mentored by the same fellow that mentored Mike Dillard, Joe Schroeder)but I don't like some of Denis' "tactics".

I opted into learn more about his system several months ago-and soon opted out. I'm not saying his system doesn't work, i'm saying I don't care for the tactics of the person behind the system.

The system is basically, at least at that time, web 2.0 stuff-social marketing...YouTube marketing. And web 2.0 definitely works, if you do it right. But I definitely didn't want to learn it from a character like him.

Hey all, I just stumbled into this networking site. I've been with Ameriplan for 3 years now. I realize this post is almost a year old but I just couldn't help but to give it an update. As for the selling of the company to Mark Jarvis that deal fail through. Our Compensation Plan was never cut or talked about being cut. Ameriplan has only gotten better and better over the last year.
