Super eloquent way to put it. Thanks Ferny. I'm excited that Better Networker really gives us the opportunity to stretch our Leadership Legs in a "Safe Place", which is a great sigh of relief for newbies, I'm sure, and the way you communicated that, was just stellar.

Truer words were never spoke. Thanks Ferry. I stummbled into BN about 6weeks ago, and was fortunate to get some great advice from some seasoned vets. The result is I have devopeded a growing following by using the methods in your article. Which boils down to really caring about people and really giving them help.
Through the BN network I have found very talented solution providers, in different areas, who gladly allow me /my group to direct other BN members to them. You do not need to be the ultimate solution provider, You can not be all things to all people, But you CAN point people to a positive solutiuon through other members. If... you can simply get yourself and your ego out of the way!!

Re: How NOT to Use Better Networker...
I am so excited to be a part of this networking community. I have been weeding through so many things online, joined several business networking sites and was spammed with everyone else's opportunities. Today, someone I didn't even talk to once, e-mailed me for $10,000. I guess he read my profile and used the fact that I had 8 children to try to convince me it would help my children in the future.
I am so new to this since I started learning two weeks ago. Thank God this site fell into my lap, because I feel like I can finally trust the people who are here.
If anyone has suggestions on the BEST thing for me to read, I am all ears. I really have been reading about 5 hours a night. Some of the stuff was really a waste of time. It was all advertising and not much content. I was really amazed at the e-book on magnetic marketing. It was the first time I read anything like it. I need more. I feel like a person who hasn't had water in years. Someone, give me some lists.
I told my husband tonight that I was very glad that I had not sponsored someone yet, because I do not yet have what it takes to give my downline a good foundation. Now, my mission is to learn. I hope everyone out there will give me suggestions.
Thanks so much!

Excellent post and one that I am so grateful I had the opportunity to read, being pretty new to this forum and to magnetic sponsoring. I look forward to learning from the best and giving of myself as well--developing into the leader that I KNOW I am is my focus this coming year!

Re: How NOT to Use Better Networker...
Hey Ferny thanks for the advice on what not to do. I joined some time ago but am looking to begin my mastery of all this web 2.0 stuff. I'm in the process of making that transition from old school to new school marketing. Fortunately I can say that I have been blessed with how the old school has treated me but I want to my people have much more success. Would appreciate it if you could give more advice on How To Use Better Networker. Thanks big time.

Wow! That sure was blunt and, unfortunately, necessary for probably some.
