I also encourage everyone else to start a thread specificially for their company if they desire. If a thread has already been created for your company, please do not start a second.

Ok so now that we got Carl the cop off our back I am going to start this forum for Arbonne International reps. It's our collective priority is to inform, assist, educate, recognise achievements and assist with queries.
So best if we all adhere to a few guidelines/suggestions:
1. Be professional at all times. No disparaging, insulting remarks, bad language etc.
2. Assist other members by posting useful suggestions, content, industry news etc.
3. Let us know what country you're from, remember we're international.
4. Try to post your photo, no-one likes a blank image.
5. Respect!
....lots more to come....let's go!

Re:Arbonne International Forum
Hi, My name is Terri Thomas and I am a consultant in Graham, WA. My daughter in law is the one who introduced me to the RE9 line. She asked me to try it for 3 days so being the good mother in law...I said ok. I had it for more than 3 days, but eventually she stopped by to pick it up and asked me how I liked it. I said it was nice, but that I was going to stay with my product that I had use for years. Within 7-10 there was such a difference in the tone of my skin that I got on the phone and order the set. It was because of how I saw the results and that it really did work that I chose to become a consultant. I have been with the company since May 06 and have yet to build a team, but I am not giving up. Arbonne products are the best out there and it's just finding people who will realize that. I do have some retail clients and a few wholesale clients, but I am still looking for my business builders.
This is great that this forum is here for us, I just have to remember it is here!
Thanks for setting it up,
Terri Thomas

Re:Arbonne International Forum
I'm in Kansas City and have been with Arbonne since February 2007. I signed up for the discount only after being amazed at my skin. I'm a vegetarian so I was thrilled to find a high quality vegan company. I decided to build a business in March 2007. I have 30 wholesale buyers and 2 people who say they want to build a business but aren't doing much. I'm about to lose my district. :( I'm not working my business like I should because I think subconsciously I don't like the reach out methods which is why I'm interested in magnetic sponsoring. I haven't received my book yet and I'm totally confused so far on how to actually implement this stuff. Something about directing people to my magnetic sponsoring webpage and getting them to opt-in for the videos? I've watched 3 of the 7 bootcamp videos. I'd like to watch them all right now and not have to wait 4 more days. How can I get going today?
BTW, Arbonne has a "no online advertising policy" so I'm concerned this program might violate that. It seems like a completely ridiculous policy to me considering the age we are living in, but nonetheless, I want to play by the rules.

Hi Caryn,
Let me know the following and I or others will try to help you.
What 'reach out' method are you using?
If you have a number of wholesale and 2 BB's, you are obviously doing something right on the wholesale end. What's the deal on your BB's, are they qualified, lack training or direction or just did it 'cause they know you?
Where is your upline and are they providing any support, have you let them know you are in difficulty?
Go as far up as you need to go to get the answers and training you need.
It would be a shame to lose your district as this stage, especially considering it's the busiest season and so much can be done in the next 3 weeks.
What method of communication do you use to stay in contact with your wholesale buyers? Auto-responder or do you leave them to their own devices.
Let's get you back on track girl.
kind regards,
Michele
p.s. Anyone else want to jump in here, please do.

Re:Arbonne International Forum
Thanks Michele. BTW, my middle name is Michele with 1 "L". :) The reach out method I was first introduced to was the 1 on 1 appointment presenting the opportunity first and letting them take home an RE9 kit. This worked great for my upline who were working business women and had appointments during the day. I'm a stay at home mom so finding babysitters and meeting with 1 person at a time didn't seem like a good use of my time/money so I started doing some parties. Some were great, some weren't which is to be expected. Now I don't feel like I have anybody to ask to host a party for me. All along there has been a nagging sense that this model is just not quite right. I haven't even called everybody on my list of 100 people because honesly, I don't want to work with some and don't want to call the others. I'm focussing now on meeting new people and using Natural Selling by Michael Oliver to build rapport and do discovery. The wholesale buyers I have I email the company ezine every month and sent them emails listing specials they qualify for. I have lots of $0.00 in Webstats from wholesale buyers. My 2 business builders are sweethearts. One is a freshman in college and the other is her mom. They say they want it but neither has invested any money in their business. I've loaned them RE9 kits and tons of literature but no activity. The freshman is home for Thanksgiving so my area manager and I are meeting with both of them today for coffee to make sure they have what they need. I dont' think they've even listend to the basic training learn and burns or Arbonne University. I love my sponsor. Unfortunately I think we are almost too good of friends now so there is no accountability on my part or much leadership on her part. I think I'll work with my area manager as much as I can. I think really the root of the problem is I still feel like I'm "selling" the old fashioned way and I don't like it so I don't pick up the phone, even if my intention is good and I feel I'm offering something good.
Ramble, ramble, ramble...thanks for listening. You definitely have the Arbonne spirit of wanting to help people. :) Thanks.

Re:Arbonne International Forum
Hello there!
This is Amy Catledge and I have been an Arbonne consultant since Feb 07. I live in Florida and I was first introduced through my firend who gave me the baby kit after my first son was born. I am a Realtor as well so I liked the idea of working from home and of course I LOVED the products.
I feel taht I have stalled in my business and this is what lead me to MS. I would love to hear hear how this site is helping out others!! I am not even sure how to set everything up and running.
My upline is great, but I think there has got to be a better way than the ReSults approach or parties. I like the idea of people finding me (who wouldn't!) I do not seem to have any trouble finding whole sale buyers, but I have not had any interest in the business.
Thanks so much for starting this forum for Arbonne Consultants who are open to doing business through internet marketing.

Re:Arbonne International Forum
Hi Amy and other Arbonne consultants,
I got involved in Arbonne in late Nov 2006. I love the products as most people do, but trying to build a business has proves difficult. My upline made it to the top in one year and is amazing. I had several sign on as builders, but they all dropped out, so I thought there must be a better way also. I went online searching for a marketing system and stumbled onto CarbonCopyPro and Wealth Master International. I signed on because it allows me to work completely online, but also I'm learning so much about marketing and using the internet for direct sales businesses. I know WMI is a totally different kind of product and maybe not even really the same target audience, but I'm learning skills that I plan to use to rebuild my Arbonne business. It seems people are willing to buy the products, but don't want to get involved in the business, which is too bad because the products are awesome and the opportunity is great. My upline did build her team the old fashioned way, but did stumble into a builder that knew someone with a Gold's gym. She also got many doctors to sign on. I'm also looking to this forum for ideas to grow Arbonne.
All the best to everyone,
Laura Talbot

Re:Arbonne International Forum
Hi this is Laura in NY. I had 1 business builder who dropped out and several who signed on and said they wanted to do the business, but never did anything. I'm kind of burnt out on the spa party thing and now I'm finding it hard to get people to even host one. I'd really be amazed if everyone in Arbonne is just doing parties and dropping off bags, although I guess it can be done. In the Arbonne booklet under 4.13 Electronic ads" it says it prohibits it UNLESS it's pre approved by Arbonne. Is anyone advertising online that did get approval? I saw one lady had a short video online. I emailed her just to ask if it was working for her and she never responded. I would love to learn how to at least attract customers online, but like you said, play by the rules! It is amazing how many people love the products, but aren't into doing the business. I think if you can get a membership or appointment only establishment involved, it'll help tremendously. I know my upline has plenty of businesses involved, but Arbonne is very strict that the business is appointment only or membership (you know...salons, doctors, chiropractors, gyms, pliates studios, etc). Well, I just wanted to touch bases with you other Arbonne people and see if anyone has had any Results using forums and online "approved" advertising??
all the best,
Laura
