Hey Arbonne buddies, have you guys heard of Krista Embry? She was at our quarterly training over the weekend and she was amazing! She is a celebrity make-up artist and loves Arbonne. She is not affiliated with Arbonne but uses all our products on herself and her clients because she loves them. She has made a DVD which teaches women about make-up and then recommends Arbonne products. There is also an Arbonne business builder section on her webpage which you get access to once you buy the DVD which has wonderful resources such as different eye techniques with matching invitations (ie have a party themed around the smokey-eye technique), a custom color palette for clients with specific Arbonne colors for them, all sorts of good stuff!

Well, scratch the affiliate program. They don't have one and said something like that would actually not be allowed by Arbonne??? The DVD is still a great resource though.

Hi Caryn,

Krista Embry was in Raleigh last night and I remembered your post about her so I booked a ticket and went along. Simply amazing is all I have to say. The whole thing was so informative. Of course what I particularly liked was that she is a third party, is not an arbonne consultant and uses all the products.

I had originally stuck pretty much to the skin-care line and just dealt with the cosmetics as an aside because not many of use are make-up artists. I can see now that is a mistake, particularly since I actually don't have to lay a hand on anyone! I love the idea that it's point and click and let the customer help themselves while you just make out the recommendations. Also her display was excellent but simple ensuring any of us can do it and I love the mood music stuff!

And can't ignore the unsolicited testemonials referring to consultants jump in revenue from in home parties up 300% with the highest being 1370%. Now that's results!

Thanks for the resource Caryn, a great help and I would encourage any consultant to go she her training if she is in your part of town.

Yeah! I'm so glad you went and liked her. Isn't she just amazing? I too never did much with the makeup because I didn't know what I was doing, plus I myself never wore much and didn't think anybody else did. I think that was a big mistake. Unlike myself, I think LOTS of women LOVE makeup and would love some help with it. Now I'm even wearing more. Who knew to really look naturally beautiful you need to wear makeup? Ha! And I feel good knowing that the makeup is vegan and good for you and that professionals use it. I learned so much from Krista. She's definitely worth seeing.

Hi,

I just purchased the DVD last month. I haven't been a big make-up person as well. I use it but found it uncomfortable to apply on someone else. However I have done 3 parties/ presentation and that is what the women seem to want. It takes a very long time much longer than a regular skin care class.
