I have used the ArbonneInvites for two events so far in the last two months. In theory it is a good idea, but I feel there are kinks that need to be worked out. 1. There is no way of knowing if your invitee has received the invitation. The system/server/delivery system they use does not kick it back if the address has been input incorrectly or if the address is invalid. I found that out the hard way when I followed up to see if my guests had gotten the invite. Some had not. 2. You cannot edit the list by deleting/removing guests (or misspelled addresses). 3. Orders placed can not go out until all orders are input and the event is considered 'closed'. So if you have some clients that you are waiting to complete their orders, you can not put through any of the completed ones until all are done. 4. A couple of my clients did not know it was from me, and thought it was spam.
Having said that, a great perk and bonus is the 'extra' $100 for $20 ArbonneInvites Host reward in addition to the usual 100 for 20.
It is also a good way to keep track of your guests and rsvp status. Also the order history for the event and its clients is nice. You can follow up afterward, go back and see what they ordered etc.Which is the main purpose of the whole idea I guess.
I will continue to use the Invites, but until i know they have revamped the delivery mthod, i will also continue to follow up the invites with another email repeating the same info.
