Hey Folks!
Bob Gatchel here and I'm glad to see that there is a BookWise forum on this great system!
(AND I want to shout out a HELLO to Paulie! Hey guy, it was great to be on the BookWise London trip with you!)
Now that I found this great resource, I look forward to sharing information, offering training and support for other fellow BookWise associates (and offering good advice for folks looking to come aboard with this great company!)
Who am I? Well, you can always check my profile :cheer:
But a SHORT Bio is that I'm a long time network marketer that has used the internet to build several successful worldwide organizations in this industry. I'm a very proud 10K (almost 25K) BookWise distributor and have the wonderful opportunity to be working with a growing, thriving organization.
Bottom line? BookWise is one of the most exciting and most interesting opportunities that I have worked in the past decade in this industry! And I hope to help share this message with everyone here on the boards.
FOR FELLOW BOOKWISE DISTRIBUTORS:
Let's get the conversation going here! Tell us all what excites you the most about BookWise and what you liked best about the newest announcements at convention!
For ME? I'm AMPED about the new online bookstores that we are going to have! We are taking the power of what I call "The Amazon Effect" and putting in the hands of our distributors - this is gonna be huge!
I'm also excited about BookWisePro.com - the new online lead capture / lead management / prospecting follow up system that I had the opportunity to help work on. We've been using systems like this in the past with GREAT success. As a matter of fact, I just brought in three new associates THIS WEEK with NO intervention of my own thanks to this "complete online prospecting system"
FOR THOSE OF YOU NOT YET IN BOOKWISE:
Be sure to talk to the person that may have sent you here to learn more about BookWise and the UNIQUE opportunity with this unique company ... or visit any of our websites!
You can get more information about the company, the founders, the concept, the compensation and the cause ... and why BookWise is sweeping the nation (and soon to be in Canada in the 2nd quarter of 2008!)
SO ... let's get this forum rocking!

Hey Bob,
Nice to see you on MS. We met up at convention. Hope you had fun in London. I could use your help right now if you don't mind. I have made a couple of the BWPro calls but would you be willing to share with me and others some of the things you do to COMPELL prospects to visit your BWPro website and what is it about what you set up in their mind that makes them want to take the next step, which is taking the BWPro tour?
I would appreciate any suggestions you can provide.

Re:BookWise - Glad to be here to help!
Hey Destry!
I remember you ... and it was a pleasure to meet you!
Yes, London was GREAT! Not just because we qualified for the trip and BookWise paid for it , but because it was great to hang out with Richard Paul Evans and other great leaders in this company. We had a great time travelling with each other, but we inspired one another too! I say ... do EVERYTHING you can to earn any of these incentive trips! They really expand your mind!
I appreciate you attending the BookWisePro.com training calls. We are rolling out a lot of great information in them and we will continue to add more and more training materials to the back office - so we have a repository of great marketing concepts!
NOW ... TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION
The biggest question many people ask is "How Do I Get Prospects To Come To My BookWise / BookWisePro Website". And that is a very valid question and there is more than one answer ... but let me give some examples here on how to get that done. I'm only going to give a couple of them here ... but there are TONS of neat ways to do this.
(1) Participate In Online Communities
Destry ... you are here and that is a GREAT start! By becoming an active member of various websites, forums and online communities, you are putting yourself out in front of the world as a thought leader about BookWise.
There is an old saying, "The Secret to Success is Just Showing Up".
By participating in various online forums and providing value / helping others with your questions and answers - you put yourself in a position as someone that potential prospects will want to contact! In other words people will find you!
BUT ... SEARCH ENGINES WILL FIND YOU TOO!
Many of these message boards, communities, "MySpace" clones, forums are often ranked very high in the search engines and many of the pages in their site get "indexed" by the search engines.
SO when people are searching Google, Yahoo, MSN etc for things like network marketing, home business, bookwise etc ... many of these pages with your comments / information / links will often show up! These "organic" search results are worth their weight in gold since the "searchers" see these links as valuable sources of information (unlike say, Google Adwords where you pay to be on the "right hand column")
But THAT BEING SAID ...
(2) PPC Advertising
Although this is not a topic for "internet newbies", Pay Per Click advertising is a great way to get traffic to your sites for a low cost.
You can put up some Google ads under different keywords, and determine your ad budget (how much you want to spend and how much per "click" ... you pay every time someone clicks on the ad) and let it run! You will get leads from it, but it requires careful testing and monitoring to get the most "bang for your buck".
I am not going to go into PPC here, but there are some great courses on this topic from Perry Marshall and others that can teach you this technique. (which I use too!)
Hope that these couple of techniques help you out a bit! I'm going to go be going over a lot of this in detail in many of our BookWisePro calls and talk about other methods of generating leads for your business too.
So stay tuned my friend!

Thanks for the input and education Mr. Gatchel. I have heard Mike Dillard mention Perry Marshall before and I think I need to get my hands on some of Perry's stuff. I do very well in person when it comes to compelling prospects to take a look but online is a whole different ball game isn't it. I appreciate you taking the time to share this information and your thoughts with me. I look forward learning more from you in the future.

Hi Everyone, I had already sent an email to Margaret before I found the place for bookwise. This is going to be alot of fun. And I am excited to find out how everyone is marketing there business. We can help each other get alot of ideas. There is another really great forum that has points for blogs and articles, etc. and they let you advertise, if anyone is interested in joining another one. It is with the Russell Brunson group. Here is link: http://www.ConquerYourNiche.com/forum/lkiehl
