I have use craigslist for SEO hit the top spot on Google in 45min. The thing you have to keep in mind that it is only up for a day or so.

You can set up multiple account that way you can post multiple ads. You need multiple phone numbers and email address to do this. At one time I was post 120 craigslist ads per day. That was when I thought they were the only place to advertise for free.

There's a great ebook on this and it's free. It's very detailed on how to multiple post on craigslist. It covers all of the aspects from beginner to advanced techniques.

Just be prepared it is very detailed and shows you how these mega posters who do thousands of ads a day on craigslist do it.

I have found that craigslist is a great way for targeting different geographic areas. I post ads in my hometown, but also since my company is constantly expanding into new countries i will post ads in highly populated cities in those countries we are prelaunching in.
Urgency and a Deadline is a great way to close sales with prospects. Back when my primary company was launching in the UK people could enroll for just 1 pound during prelaunch. By communicating urgency and a deadline to my cl leads, it was a great to establish a team in a completely untapped market.

I think is a great way to generate free leads but what I have found is that I have to constantly be re-verifying my friends phone numbers. Since I do it while I'm in school I use different computers. If you post 12 Craigslist ads per day you will be generating at least 18 free leads a week with just an hour of your time. Not Bad!
