I have read some of the posts on this site. I have so many questions to go with it! I have worked from home for 2+yrs, 2yrs with one company & just switched to another company. I am not sure that the company failed me or I failed the company. I have learned so little, but at the same time so much. People write these amazing articles & I have no clue even how to start one. My area of expertise is not in the field of my home business. Before network marketing I was & still am a stay at home mom. Kids, running a house, taking care of husbands needs etc. So the thing is I have no words to put on here like the rest. I can't write the perfect article cause I have only 2yrs of this kind of world behind me. What is it that a person such as myself can do to overcome the inexperience that I have? The company that I am with now is Amazing & I really don't want to fail this company as I know that it would be me that failed. I don't have the money as others might have to advertise. I have 5 kids, a husband a cat & a dog & a mom that I care for. As you can see I am busy, but at the same time I don't want my husband killing himself to keep food on our table. I know that there will be someone that will be able to give me some thoughts, advice, or help. So thanks for listening!!

Hey Beth,

First off welcome to the forums! You will learn a lot from this community.

With that said, there a lot of ways to market your business at low cost. You don't necessarily need a $2500 marketing budget. Of even a $500 marketing budget for that matter. But, as with any business there will be costs.

My recommendation is that the first thing you do is go get the book Magnetic Sponsoring by Mike Dillard (less than $40). I am not going to post a link here, but if you are interested send me a private message and I can provide you my affiliate link, or you can just do a Google search for it as well.

That will help get you going in the right direction with what we call Attraction Marketing. It is a powerful concept and one that I think needs to be understood before you get very far.

Welcome to the site. I'm pretty new here as well and it seems really great. I know it can be confusing when you are trying to find a new business. What you need is to find a product that no one needs and everyone wants and you don't have to change much of what you are doing right now. And one that won't nickel and dime you to death after you get started. Yes, I know that this exists.

Hi Beth! Welcome to BN and Congratulations. You have made the first start to change. Don't think you don't have the ability to write great articles or posts on the forum. Your post was honest and straight from your heart. That's all it takes. You can do it!

As far as your business goes, you have to have a passion for what you do and believe whole heartedly in the company. Once you have established that, you need to learn everthing you can about the business and use your own product/service. This will make it easier to talk to others about your business.

There are many ways to market yourself and your business without spending a lot of money; online and offline. Feel free to contact me (send me a private message) and I can give you more information.

I put flyers up at my kid's school today and a few disapeared already!!!!

You husband may be able to put up some flyers in the break room depending on what he does.

You could find a new restraunt with a flyer board to check out.

Hopefully you have a good upline. Let your upline know your serious about your buisness. I would absolutly love to have a motivated person like you in my downline.

My kids are older. 20, 20, 18, 17 & 4. Only one in school, but I will check to see if they have a board!
