One Lead a Day

If you need one Lead a day or at lease one sale a week then try to focus on one marketing skill a week before you move on to the next one. With so much information out on the net and everyone is a millionaire and have done the impossible, how do we choose a product or person that seems to work? I say consistant focus cosistant action! The mentors that get leads do this everyday, that is discipline! Getting one lead a day, or a week, or even a month is a good goal to achieve.
But we are forgetting what are we doing here. Are we just getting leads or building relationships?
Just getting leads is one thing if that is your goal. But will they stay with you for the long term?
Building a business on relationships will be there whether they join you or not. Eventually they just may! It will be their decision and will stick with you longer because of the relationship you have built over time.
The money will come and go, but the relationships will last a much longer time.

For me the focus is on helping people. Its about relationships as Mario put it. The question isn't a lead but is that lead someone I can help?

Hey everybody just read your messages and i thought that you guys were absolutely right
What matters most its not the amount of leads someone gets but the person they can help and help them improve their lives. Leads are worthless if your relationship with them is superficial and not genuine
Anyway just wanted to share some of my ideas
Best of Luck

Re: One genuine Lead a Day!!

Hello; John Deese here.
This is a great forum I see to be in. Short Introduction, I'm a true business consultant. My area of specialty is on line business build. Not the guru type stuff but true business building skills for creating businesses online and offline.
What I find interesting about this forum Is the absolute identity in the principle of each other helping one another in building and identifying that going at it in business can not be done alone. With regards to the forum topic on leads; Jason got it right with the relationship with your lead needs to be genuine and not superficial.
My firm belief is that I rather have 10 good relationship leads, than 100 not interested leads. For me I don't buy leads, want buy leads and don't need third party interest in getting my leads... frankly speaking, I let my leads find me. I feel individual in needs of my service will get the opportunity to see what I can do for them before spending one copper penny.
When my leads get a hold of whats offered at the free level of products and services, they will then look into researching other valuable content and products, which in turn sells themselves. NOW! imagine a repeat lead like what you have to offer and that lead brings along close relatives, associates and coworker. Your one genuine relationship lead, just lead to perhaps 10 other leads.
See word - of - mouth will always be the master sale platform either on the internet or in reality and until that is mastered, success on the internet will continue to slow the progress of many. Look to see how I carry out my principles in my group here on BetterNetworker. Look forward to building my relationship in a genuine manner.

I have read all the postings on this thread and I wanted to jump in here with my 2 cents.

I agree that we are all in the "relationship" business and I love that aspect of my business, however if you don't have anyone to build a relationship with your business will fail. Hence the need for "leads". It is up to you to turn these unknown people into a part of your community. It all falls on your shoulders to make it happen.

I love talking with people--any people. I talk to folks in elevators, on the street, in the stores, waiting in lines, at the doctor's office. I usually end up knowing the other person's whole life story. I love that. I am trying to learn how to transition my natural inquisitiveness into prospecting. Anyone have any suggestions?

I would also like to hear from you about ways to get leads besides face-to-face contact. I am relatively new to this internet network marketing, and I am trying to soak up as much information as I can.

Thanks in advance for any help. Thanks for letting me say my thought.

There are some really great opportunities right now to generate lots of leads for little to no cost, and not the leads that everyone else is fighting for.

Im serious, if you have been around for a while, you have experienced that the promises of the top internet marketers are their results during a very specific time period.

Do what works now, not years ago.

Anyways, im looking for a couple partners to team up on a new project i am working on.

After 2 years of research and development

111+ leads in two days, and the best part is that it is more quality than anything I've ever gotten through internet programs like magnetic, MLSP, any perpetual funnel.

One lead a day is way better than a few leads every now and then. Working every day to get leads promotes consistent effort and I agree with you Raymond it is what we call discipline. We must be used into working daily as it lessens the probability of slacking off and forgetting all about planning and taking action.

Cheers!
