Step#1

The first step to accumulating a massive following is
to set up a Free Twitter account at twitter.com. After setting
up your new twitter account you may want to upload a
nice photo but more importantly you definitely want to
create a really good bio and create a nice background
for your site.

Step#2

Find and follow fellow twitterers with similar interests.
If you are a musician naturally you'll want to connect
with other musicians. A great free tool to find targeted
twitterers is http://search.twitter.com. This site enables
you to locate people with similar interests using targeted
keywords to find your audience. If you're a musician you
can easily find other musicians to follow who'll in turn
will follow you.

Step#3

Feed your twitter account with relevant timely articles.
Again if you're a musician with a following interested
in music then you'll want to feed your twitter account
with music related content.

Step#4

Unfollow people who are not following you. Twitter rules
allow you to follow up to 2000 people and you can't follow
anymore people until you get 1850 followers. At that
point you can go over the 2000 mark. The next limit
twitter has is you can't follow more than 10% above the
amount of people that follow you. This means that if you
have 2000 followers the maximum amount of people you can
follow is 2200. Unfollowing people that are not following
you will enable you to free up space and enable you to
follow others who in return may follow you. Wait at least
2 days to give people a chance to follow you. After 2 or
3 days begin unfollowing people.

Step#5

Twitter allows you to post tweets with links inviting
your following to visit your website. The more followers you have
the more potential web traffic you'll receive.
Also you can send up to 1000 direct messages a day.
Depending on how large your following is, you can send
a message to up to 1000 followers. If you have 5000 followers
you can only send a direct message to 1000 of your followers
in a given day but still that's a 1000 potential hits to your
website. Keep in mind not to Post too many links promoting
your site on your twitter account. Posting a link once or
twice a week will suffice. Remember to shorten your urls
before posting your tweets. A great tool to shorten your

Do you see the message that is being subliminally suggested .... "GET AS MANY FOLLOWERS AS YOU CAN"
within a niche lets say for this example "HOME BASED BUSINESS" and guess what everyone else is "GETTING AS MANY FOLLOWERS AS THEY CAN" it's a race to no end guys ... a waste in business practice unless you are providing insight in a niche that isn't so geared to cross-selling and building popularity ... TRUTH is NO ONE in the home based business industry GOT RICH OFF OF TWITTER .... BECAUSE EVERYONE IN THE HOME BASED BUSINESS INDUSTRY ON TWITTER IS THERE TO TRY TO GENERATE LEADS AND MAKE MONEY .... not become a lead and spend money....

BIG FAIL... as for traffic ? bigger fail

After 3 months of twitter tracking for numerous clients I work with .... ranging from attorney's to translators... the amount of traffic generated by twitter came at about 1.8% of all traffic modes ...

REASON ? twitter is a narcissist tool that caters to the self absorbed "LOOK AT WHAT I AM DOING AND SAYING CROWD" basically the GENERATION Y .... it works for celebs and such.. BUT IT WON'T WORK FOR YOU... TRUST ME

I have to say...

This is a setup for failure


Don't go out building a twitter account with
100,000 followers and followings and only
blast links or stupid quotes all day long.

Because you will waste your time.



Twitter is an incredible tool that you can make Tonnes of money with.

I know because I have friends who do it.

They go on their and they tweet whatever the heck is on their mind.

They are real and enjoyable to follow.


They are called micro bloggers.


Similar to bloggers but much smaller.

When you read a persons blog, you get a good feel for who they are.

It's the same with twitter.


So many people just blast links all day
long with their lame headlines
in hopes of riches to come to them....

Sorry poser not going to happen.


1) Before anything else, you need to know that you want
to be on twitter whether anyone follows you or not.

Whether people think your lame or not, you need to
show your true colors through your tweetings.

If you have this mindset, then your golden


2) Tweet yourself and don't use garbage waste of money tools.
Tweet what ever the heck you want to and don't be afraid to
look like a fool sometimes. This shows people you are real!

3) DO NOT FOLLOW SOMEONE JUST BECAUSE THEY FOLLOW YOU!!!!

This is the worst thing you can do.
Most people on twitter are only
looking to put up their numbers and
don't care what you have to tweet about.

This will be easy to spot when they unfollow
you after about a week because you are not
following them.

You don't want those posers following you anyways.

4) Only follow people who you WANT to follow!!!

If your a Vegan, why the heck would you follow @JuicyRibEyeSteaks ???

"Because they followed me."

Shut up....
