The best way to build a homebased business is to offer value. You will be face with " this has worked for me and i don;t understand why is not working for you" there is a constantly my system is better than yours and my way is the best way. In reality the right way is your way, if you have invested in yourself and give others value no matter what business you are in, you will have great results.

You are responsible for your success, not a product or the next big thing.

If someone is searching for a home based business I can't overemphasize having a PASSION about whatever it is you decide to do! Don't "chase the money" because it can and will run faster than you.

The compensation plan can be the best on earth but if you don't really have a connection with your products or services people will sense that and back away from your offer, unless of course they are interested in "chasing money too".

Also, I agree that you must take the time to perfom your due diligence completely... you may want to know exactly what's being offered both the pros and cons obviously.

I wish anyone searching for a business opportunity all the best.

Continued Success,

In addition to evaluating the product, there are other circumstances one should consider when selecting a home based business.
Here are just a few relate to the company:
1. Research the company and CEO- Make sure the company is legitimate and has a sound, stable history.
2. Global Expansion - What are (if any) the goals to move the company into other countries?
3. "Unselfish" Company - What is the company doing to leave the world a better place?

Research, evaluate, and ask questions to make a decision about the home based business that is right for you.

In My experience of 8 years online and many more off line, I would have to say that when it comes to choosing a home based business, you need to consider the following carefully...

Sponsor, is he/she going to help you and has s/he helped you prior to joining...

Companys policies and procedures - having been victim twice to companies shutting down overnight - these should be at least asked for, viewed and understood, making sure any questions/doubts you have before joining are answered. Remember there are many sharks who promise the earth and do not deliver out there. You are investing your hard earned money into the company you are joining - it needs to be right.

I am still surprised at the amount of people I talk to globally, that do not do any of this & when its mentioned that it may be a good idea, they think you are putting they're idea down.

Of the companies I am with now, I have vetted/checked each one throughly before joining.I hope this post is of help to people.

I actually wrote an article that pertains exactly to this topic.

Check it out if you guys would like. It is about things to watch out for when choosing a new business...

It'll offer more insight than the original post which is more like an attempt to plug this person's business.

Good post Jessica,I think you summed it up with your own paragraph.

If you're not in business doing something you like and are passionate about its real hard to get people to join you.Like you say "enthusiasm is contagious."
