Yes there should be a discussion on Lifevantage. I have been making money from home for the past 7 years now and have never ever been involved in a health and wellness company. So many of them are the same, so many of them had bogus over priced prodcuts. But when I saw Lifevantage I had to jump into it. 1. Ok let us start with the company. How long have they been in business? 99% of companies do not make it past year two. If you see a company that has, then you know your in good shape. You have no fear that the company will be shut down by the state attorney generals like happens so many times with pyramid schemes, or ponzi schemes. There are not many publicly traded network marketing companies though and for good reason. The key again is to pick something that is stable and does things correctly. Pick a company that doesn't hide behind its email or is located in a foreign country. Amazing customer service is also paramount.

2. The product is also very key. The product must be unique, it must have the BUZZ or the IT FACTOR. Many companies market a whole heck of a lot of products. That leads to things getting watered down and a lack of buzz. Stick with a company that has 3 products max. You want a product that has been tested. A product that has amazing benefits that peers who have no conflict of interest agree on. Does the product benefit the consumer? Does the company have more consumers than distributors? Does the company have third party validation from people who have no ulterior motives. Maybe they are media organizations, or Universities doing funded studies on the product. There will always be bashers of some things on line but make sure most of the testimonials and consumer reviews are positive.

3. Now we get to the money. Show me the money. If you are working a home based business part time you want to make sure it will be very worth your time to work it. Not everyone has the same monetary desires. But you must give yourself a long term goal of say 12-24 months and put out a realistic number on what you want to achieve. Do you want to make six figures in your business or closer to 7 figures. If you are thinking smaller than that then you are really short changing yourself. Time is a very valuable commodity. When you are working for someone else you are not getting value for that money. When you are working on behalf of yourself via an opportunity the sky is the limit. Again you are looking for a long term residual income where you can sit back a few years from now and laugh everytime you go to the bank. Make sure the long rang compensation is worth your time.

4. One last very important aspect in finding the perfect home based business is the marketing. Do you market online or offline or a combination of both. I think you will have your best success with picking a company that is a master of both. So many companies rely on one or the other. Make sure your company has amazing corporate websites and back offices. You do not want to join a company that markets its websites that look like your dead grandma created them. You want a company that reinvests it profits back into the infrastructure. You want marketing material and websites that have the WOW factor. If you have testimonials from super credible third parties all the better. They are very very powerful sales tools.

Now if you find a company that meets all this criteria you should RUN to it as fast as you can, roll up your sleeves and get to work.
