Like Adam said - they may not cancel you today, but the day they do you lose "your" business with no option for complaint. Is it a risk you are prepared to take?

The key word with this statement is "Having been involved", which to me would mean past tense. Dean, along with everyone else, I do appreciate the insight and comments. However, the terms and conditions were revised as of June of 2009 making social media available to us. Matter of fact, the company makes news articles, pictures, and various media exerts available to us to put on our social media sites.

I understand you have posted a crazy amount of posts on here Dean, but you really shouldn't be posting parts of terms and conditions of companies you're no longer involved with. Especially when the exert you post from the terms and conditions are false!

Well as I am still a "distributor" I went on to their site and copied that quote from their current terms and conditions - I suggest you read what you have signed up to.

Dean, (this is also in response to Mr. Leonce White, who I also appreciate)

I really do appreciate the response, I really do. So... as an individual that can admit when he is wrong. I called the distributor support number just to make sure on the topic.

What I can say is this... as a distributor of Mona Vie my friend and a major contributor to the website I would appreciate you being abreast of the current policies and procedures of the companies you're involved in. If you noticed the date of the insert you posted on here, it was Feb 2009. If you had been keeping up with the company news and attending events you would have known... which I stated in a previous message... that the policy on using social media has been rewritten as of June 2009. The only problem with that is because it's a complex document, it has not been updated in the back office. That was actually confirmed by customer service... I just got off the phone with them!

But just to make sure and double check... I have an email into compliance to get all the details. I'll keep you posted of the policies and procedure of the company your involved with. ;)

The bottom line is this... and nothing personal... if you're going to post the policies and procedures of companies that you are involved in... cause you said above you're a distributor... you really should know what they are!

However, I stopped actively participating in that business because of their out-of-date regulations. If they have updated them then they need to update the website because these are the regulations you are required to sign up to.

Dean,

I really do appreciate the response. I did contact compliance via email and they are working on updating the website. They are a little back logged with more pressing priorities at this time. They did mention that before I am able to use the social networks, I first have to pass a Compliance Certification course they have supplied for us.

I would like to thank you for the conversation we've had on here. I was unaware that I had to take the certification course and without our dialogue, I might not have known that.

Thank you again, I appreciate the time you've taken to comment on here and look forward to future conversations.

Some MonaVie heavy hitters are all over YouTube like Briggs Hart. He has a video doing a whole presentation on the compensation plan. Internet marketing is exploding for MLM companies. Why would they not want their product and distributors to use this tool? I was with MonaVie but I am now with Evolv. They are both fantastic products and companies, but Evolv is awesome and very progressive.

When I was with Tahitian Noni, I had all my advertising approved by Compliance. The did have me pull something off an equine forum which I did question but I complied. I think if you are doing volume and you are presenting the company correctly, I think they should let it ride. My opinion. But social media is the hot new medium for getting exposure. Of course, no company wants to be considered as spam.
