Request forum for Mona Vie

Postby Mike Clark on Tue Dec 15, 2009 5:54 pm

I'm requesting a forum for Mona Vie not for what the company offers as a product, but for what the company stands for.

The company promotes what they call a 5 STAR opportunity;
1. The Product - although there other high quality Acai products out there, there is only one with patents in place to process the WHOLE Acai berry and that's Mona Vie

2. The Timing - We all know about the baby boomers leading the health and wellness industry.

3. The Compensation Plan - Other companies talk about comp plans, this one actually delivers. Mona Vie has given away more vehicles and trips then most of the companies I've heard about. They don't over promise and under deliver. They actually do the complete opposite. They deliver huge!

4. The Management - The bottom line is the management is a distributorship type of management. They continue to put more and more incentives on the table and make it easier to hit the higher ranks... all while still given out the same bonuses. That, along with the mindset of "if you've been blessed, you better become a blessing". It's not just about making the money, it's about MonaVie becoming a vehicle for you to contribute beyond yourself... not just money, but time.

Which leads to...

5. The MORe Project - MonaVie Operation Rescue. This the only company I have ever been involved with that consistently gives a percentage back to the area in which they harvest the berries. On top of that, they hire the natives, build schools and homes for needy children. For this company, it's not about just giving money to the area to make themselves look good. It's about making a long lasting impact on the lives of the people in the area and in the economy of the area. The ol saying goes, "If you teach a man to fish, he'll eat for a day. If you teach how to build the pole, he'll eat for a lifetime". MonaVie is teaching the people of Brazil to skills necessary to eat for a lifetime. So the impact is felt long after this management team has lived their lives. Not only do they do all that, they encourage distributors to visit the area to see first hand the impact that our efforts have on the lives of children down there.

That is why MonaVie has seen tremendous growth and has received numerous awards as such a young company.

That is why there should be a forum for MonaVie.

Make it a great day,
Mike

Is a statement similar to that in nearly every single MLM company out there? Just wandering. It is pretty much an escape clause for legal obligations of claims made. Look at the amount of Monavie that is being sold on ebay...I don't think the company will actually care or even take notice, it is only their way of not being legally bound to the content you post.

BTW. There is a forum that is sololy dedicated to Monavie at Www.MonavieForum.Net

You can see it as just a legal stuff to cover their back but it's there, written a contract.

And they may not care now because someone in that company is small fry but the moment that small fry makes big monies, is where the problem happens.

People need to read the policy of their company and take it very serious.

I've seen Diamonds, Double Diamonds, millionnaires who built their MLM business from scratch, brought so much business, sold so many products, build huge teams and they started with forums.

They started using the net long before, mentioning company name, showing company products - and they got to that stage and company didn't say anything.

UNTIL....

The distributor had clout, big team, making money and they stripped them of every dime and stopped the checks.

So I won't see this as just some clause.

It's there for a reason.

They may not uphold it now but in time, they will do so and we have seen many examples of companies doing so. It only needs a slight push from FTC, or DTI in UK and done.

It only needs company to set an example and choose someone as a scapegoat.

It only needs a shift in the top level founders or directors or shareholders of the company.

It only needs a media banging out about pitching or some complaints from prospects to the MLM company.

It happened in UK.

DTI stepped in. Clamp down and last two years, people who were earning $50,000 a month to $100,000 and more, and those who were using ebay, and selling the products got their distributorship cancelled.

No explaination. With no phone call.

Nadda, Zip. Nothing.

And all their years of building gone.

What happened to their team?

The company moved the team to the next upline.

Take this policies seriously guys and brand yourself. You don't have to create a forum for any MLM company. Create one where you take one skill or more and focus in sharing skills in..

Prospecting, in phone calls etc. Lead by your skills and great minds and you will never have a reason to fear such policies in future.

True entrepreneurs plan ahead and make sure their assets and sweat, time is protected in future. So don't dismiss this legal clause but find a way to promote you, your skills and expertise.

Going off Dean's statement, yes there is a statement somewhat like this in every MLM company out there but the fact is Mona Vie has a brutal one! It exists to simply cover their asses in times of lawsuit but this one just seems odd, I agree with Dean, watch out!Image

Like Adam said - they may not cancel you today, but the day they do you lose "your" business with no option for complaint. Is it a risk you are prepared to take?

The key word with this statement is "Having been involved", which to me would mean past tense. Dean, along with everyone else, I do appreciate the insight and comments. However, the terms and conditions were revised as of June of 2009 making social media available to us. Matter of fact, the company makes news articles, pictures, and various media exerts available to us to put on our social media sites.

I understand you have posted a crazy amount of posts on here Dean, but you really shouldn't be posting parts of terms and conditions of companies you're no longer involved with. Especially when the exert you post from the terms and conditions are false!

In my experience... MOST companies, even though they have policies in place (which they ALL do) ...when they find a breach they work hard to find a solution (to fix the problem)... It is in every bodies best interest including the companies to maintain the integrity of the organization and the message being told.. but to also keep their distributors happy and productive. They do not just cut someone loose and say "Too Bad for You"

unless
A. They've been warned multiple times
B. It's absolutely ridiculous what they are doing
C. The company lets things get so out of hand that they have no choice from a legal perspective

I have been contacted several times over the years by the compliance departments for my respective companies. They simply pointed out an issue and asked me to resolve it. This is the most likely outcome.
If that happens to you... FIX THE PROBLEM!!

(If an associate does get cut with seemingly no explanation then there is probably more too the story)

Why Would Monavie or any other company for that matter just drop people if there was a solution to be had.. The fact is when you cut out core leadership you will lose the majority of the group they built over time. People join people... and it is a very bad thing for companies to lose top producers...

Having said that....

Be Responsible when advertising your business. This means knowing your Policies and Procedures and Abiding by them.. Simple common sense here! Why risk your business ?

As a side note.... (selling product on ebay, in my opinion is not being responsible.. it's a bloody auction site...)

anyways my two cents...

Hi Mr. Clark,

Please, please, please, do yourself a huge favor, and read and UNDERSTAND your P&P'S, per Mr. McNamara's advice. And then, if your satisfied with them continue to build it big.

To Your Success,

PS: Your P&P'S is your contract. Not what they tell you over the phone.

Looks like Monavie is in some trouble

On Dec 5th 2006 the Distributor Rights Association (DRA) represented MLM Distributors in an FDA hearing on liquid nutritionals. We were represented by the Law Office of Johnathan Emord who is a leading opponent of oppression by the FDA. That meeting was benign and the FDA representatives said they were on a fact finding mission. The majority of the input to them was to leave liquid nutritionals alone, they are fine being classified as a nutritional under DSHEA. So the meeting ended with no action. It turns out this was a ruse to an end play political manipulation. Now, once again, we find that the FDA is pulling sneaky back door tactics to try to get liquid nutritionals bashed or banned - NO DOUBT AFTER THAT ALL NUTRITIONALS!
