Is This Squeeze Page Awful, or What?

Postby Anthony Ruggiero on Fri Jul 11, 2008 4:44 pm

Hello members,

I would appreciate some honest feedback on this squeeze page.

http://mlmcashflowreport.com/msforum.html

I didn't create it, but I would like to share the feedback with the creator so that it can be improved.

In my opinion, the pre-headline might not make sense to you, unless you have already read the FREE report.

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Actually..the pre-headline...

"...The Only Thing Worse Than A Liar Is Someone Who Tells Half-Truths..." has been around a long, long time and if you think about it..makes sense!

As for the overall look/feel, I think this is a very nice landing/squeeze/capture page because of:

1. Asks a question.
("if everyone apparently has the latest, greatest 'hot product', then why are only a few really making money on them?)

2. Makes you think/believe that just because someone says they have a 'hot product', that just maybe...their telling you a half-truth

3. Report is being provided, in exchange for name/email address/phone, for a 'solution' that you, as the reader, have been or are currently 'looking for'...and subconsciously tells you that 'finally' you're going to get the 'truth' behind the mystical 'success formula'.

4. And that report is being given to you by the person who has created it...thus, you feel you're not being given something that might be 're-hashed' or 'recycled' information.

5. The web page uses 'video'. Video has been, and will continue to be a major force in Web 2.0 technology for years.

6. Everything on the web page is right in front of you...everything is 'above the fold'.

Hope this helps?

I agree it's an outrageous spinoff of our very own MS capture page. But hey, isn't imitation supposed to be the sincerest form of flattery? So I guess you agree that Mike's page works very well and you're trying to cash in on that.

I'm not too sure it will work. The 'newbie' in me says that those who know MS won't go for it. And those who don't go for MS won't go for it for the same reasons they don't go for MS.

Which leaves you with those who've never heard of MS? And they will probably go with whichever version they come across first. Now considering how many folks out there are promoting the MS page I don't see many getting to your page first, do you?

If you want to be noticed, then stand out from the crowd. Create your own capture page that is uniquely YOU. Familiarity breeds contempt. (do they say that anywhere else except the UK?)People become immune to things that they see over and over and over again. That's why Mike and the gang are constantly updating and testing. Unless you're going to do the same, your page will soon lose it's appeal.
Okay, I finally opened up.

Image.

Check out how I can help you.

Hmm... your first post is asking us to critique a page that "isn't yours" (but you are an affiliate right?)
The page is a blatant attempt at recruiting Mike Dillard's list.
The person who did a marvellous critique of the page was also a first time poster (but not you right?)

Forgive me if I am offended by your assumption that I am very stupid.

PS. The page is average, and you did not check it in Firefox.

freemoney,

This may be my first post, but I can tell you that I've been an affiliate for many, many years. Perhaps, even longer than you.

I don't appreciate your accusation that I critiqued my own post. I can assure you that it was a coincidence that the person who critiqued my post was also a new user making his first post.

Sorry if I offended you or any other members with my post.

I will ask a moderator to remove my post.

You are promoting Joe Schroeder's " Cash Flow Recruiting Machine" Right? Joe is Mike Dillard's mentor. You have the squeeeze page used by all affiliates of that program. Make Sense? That is a very good squeeze page.
