Welcome to the forums.
Totally depends. You can create a Squidoo lens. I would recommend identifying your niche and looking for relevant blogs in your niche. Communicate with the blog owners and offer to share a press release for their blog (give them free content in exchange for promoting yourself). This is cool because you can get your press releases published without having to pay for press releases, like you otherwise would have to do.

Hi there, can you elaborate a little more on what industry you are writing PRs for? That might help us to give you suggestion.

If you have already issued your press release, you may want to do these to get more exposure

- Bookmark them to some of best sites like digg, reddit, mixx etc.
- Share with friends and knowns with your email signature
- Share in forums via signature (if you're active with a regular contribution, people will notice)
- Do a few articles published at sites like Hubpages.com, Ezinearticles, and goarticles
- You can make use of your followers and friends with facebook and twitter share. It works excellent.

Hope that help.

Or if you're looking to get websites where you can publish your press release, that's another question :)

Thanks

Hi Kelly,

I personally have no idea which websites can actually boost the popularity of your press releases on the web. However, there are so many strategies that you can utilize to get as much attention as you want. You can try any of the steps below:

- Look for niche social media sites. I am sure you will find one where you newsletter is relevant.
- Utilize top social media websites like Digg, Reddit, StumbleUpon, etc.
- Create guest accounts on some of the most popular community forums on the web and post replies on forum entries.
- Hire an SEO to manage your back links to popular websites. This can boost your traffic on the web and potentially improve you reputation on the cyber space.
- Use facebook and twitter to update your followers with your newsletters. This is a convenient yet effective way to get your message across.

I hope these strategies will do you well.

Two great PR sites are PRWire and Webwire.

They are both paid sites.

Press releases are powerful.
I find I get alot more milage out of using paid PR sites.

I'd have to agree. Plus, it depends on what the purpose of your press release it. Literal exposure, or links?

I find the PRWeb is the best on both fronts, but emailwire.com is an affordable alternative.
