Signature File

Postby Ben Bradley on Wed Jul 28, 2010 4:54 am

Okay everyone, I have this friend who joined BN. They don't know how to add a signature at the end of their post. Can someone help this dope out? I mean really, what a maroon! He sees the 'attach signature' box below the text field but how does he bring it up?

Thanks Dean,
I'm glad you understand. Its tough having friends that just don't get it. I'm trying to stay patient with him though. Wish me luck.

Signature files are actually quite important in the scheme of things, as they are almost like your silent salesman.

Signature Files actually work very well, if they are worded right & just recently I have had people contact me through reading posts, that they have liked, but liked the Sig File more, as it was almost like a PS.

A sig is important in every forum you participate in. I get a lot of leads from my sig on BN alone.

it is good to incorporate signature in your forum post because it can also help increase traffic in your site.

Ben,

A newer member to Better Networker, I just came across your question. I hope that your friend has since added the appropriate information to his sig line.

As fellow member Dave Hayes pointed out, the signature line is a powerful tool, and should be used whenever possible. Remember that your e-mail programs offer signature lines, as well. Use that space to promote your blog, business opportunity, and one or two other items.

These need not be entirely business-related, though. I include a link to my Rotary club in the sig line for my main e-mail account. People appreciate volunteer/non-profit work you do. Something to consider.
