yes, it is a pain and mystifying why it hasn't been fixed.

If you scroll thru this thread to Richard Bravo's response, he has a link from which you can change your signature.

Richard, why hasn't it been fixed yet? It has been a long time. This long delay makes one think that the needs of forum users aren't a priority to BN.

If you are still experiencing an issue with the user control panel, make sure you have cleared all of your browser cache first, then try accessing the user control panel..
