Re: Fill in the blank. I knew I had found my niche when_________
Here I am again. I took the advice from Joyce Penner. Just relax. I did take off and enjoyed myself. I did not mention anything about my business while I went to a convention. People came up to me and began asking questions, 'what am I selling today?' I can stay relaxed and hand out a business card. I don't have to chase down people any more. They are actually coming to me for information. Another person came up to me as we went out to lunch together. Now, I am in a position of experience to help someone. I knew I had found my niche when people can come up to me and I can work with them in addressing their health concerns. Now, they are taking responsiblity in their own health issues.

I really had to work on this since last month. I knew I had found my niche when my co workers are reporting back to me of their diet changes. We are having a cook in at work. Everybody is pitching in and bringing food for lunch. Everybody is on watch to bring healthy foods that is not fattening or high sugar content. Everybody is taking notice of their health concerns. That's great news to hear!
Everybody thinks I am like the movie, 'Jonathan Button'. I've lost my weight dropped down to a smaller size. I am now at the size I was when I was in my 30's.
I know now I am on the right track in getting everyone aware of their health concerns.

Wow! I am learning all the time. I know I found my niche when I learned how to not advertise to people. I feel more relaxed when I talk to people and I am able to listen to their stories or whatever I have to hear. I don't push my ideas onto them. I can listen intently to them. That do build a friendly relationship when people are able to talk to each other on just general principles without selling being involved.
I do try to introduce an idea later. To keep them interested, I can usually tell them that I will get back with them with the information. That usually builds interests as they are waiting for the results.
A few days later when I see them again, I have the information that they can check out themselves. No selling involved. I am building value in the customer. If they like what they see, I tell them, they will sign up themselves.
I will then be developing a leader to do the same in duplication.
This is great!

I didn't dread going to work and actually looked forward to doing the things I needed to do to grow my business. I had made money in lots of other ways but never felt quite right until I started working with other motivated people to build an organization.
