Re: How Does Money Control Who Your Are?
Money is the root of all evil. Money does not control who you are. Money defines who you are. If you are a great person, money will help you to be a greater person. Look what 'Ophra' does with her money. She was just a regular talk show host. Now she commands many projects. She can underwrite many projects without the help of large corporations. She is a great person. Money did help her to be a better person. And yes, on the other side, money does the same way. If you are a not so good person, or venture into illegal activities or advise your investors unwisely, you will end up ashamed. You will be hunted, haunted, arrested, and thrown into a dark place away from society for a long time. But, we are all here to do good things for others. Helping others to live out their lives better. We can take our money and provide for others and teach them to do the same. We can pass it on so others can learn and pass it on also.

That moron may be just in defining her. But she is a multi-million dollar moron!
When she wants to do a project, she does not have to ask for help to build a school for girls. She do not have to ask anybody's help to do a movie project, or where to live and spend her money!
She has a great following on her television show! Moron or not she is doing and making the multi-big bucks.
She is running a business and you have to be tough in managing every aspects of it. Her plans works and each project she takes on works and pays off very well.
We only see what television wants us to know. That is what makes news worthy. We will see only what the news shows the underside of her business because it sells well.
If we can do a fourth of what she has to do, we will do very well ourselves. But we are not in the spotlight like her. We run our businesses like we have to and nobody knows how it is runned.

Money is NOT the root of all evil!
Money is nothing but a thing.
An inanimate object with a perceived value, with the strict purpose of bartering - nothing more.
People's actions are the root of all evil.
Money doesn't pull the trigger or launch the missile.
Money doesn't get behind the wheel of a car intoxicated.
Money doesn't blow up buildings.
People's lust or "their love" for money is what drives man to do evil things.
Like I said ... money simply makes you more of who you are and brings out your true colors.
In contrast, in the hands of the right people, beautiful things can be achieved with the proper use of money.
Money builds schools.
Money feeds the hungry.
Money pays for clean water.
Money buys medicine for the inflicted.
Money pays for a good education.
Money builds playgrounds, parks, civic centers, hospitals, homes, etc.
Money opens doors and provides options that you simply will not have access to when you don't have money.

I have to agree with you, Richard!
Like the movie, 'Mo Money, Mo Money!' The crooks trying to make more money scamming people out of their money, to make more money. And they got nowhere for their efforts. Evil deeds does not pay!
But we are talking about the good deeds people can do with money they make legally and following legal standards.
If we invest well, help others in need, and doing the things for another without looking for pay back are good deeds that brings out who we really are deep down inside.
There is a song, 'you can't look down on someone unless you are getting down to lift someone up.'
That is one of my focus on my profile page, 'doing something for someone without regards to a repayment.'
As I build my business I can lift someone up to also be a better citizen and an asset to his/her community.
