Recommendations for good recorder gadget

Postby Shane and Kim Franklin on Thu Nov 05, 2009 4:06 pm

Hi there. Can anyone recommend a good device that records conversations/interviews that then allows me to burn and/or save content to computer and burn to a CD? Remember I'm on a budget but quality is important.

Thanks!

If you mean recording phone or conference calls, where it saves as an mp3 and then you can use it as content tp upload to your site or later burn on cd, dvd. If that's the case then..

This is a tutorial and it's a free service. Haven't used it as yet but know many who have but it's a free service. Will be testing it out very soon. Ps...not affilated to them.

If you mean, recording your vocals, using a microphone, to upload as content, then there is a free software called audacity. You can find and download this free software here..

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

If you wish to save your audio as mp3 and not wav then you'll need to download a plugin which you can get for free here
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/help/fa ... m=lame-mp3

Below is the video on how to use it.

Other free softwares, I cover here, if you're under extreme budget..
