Personally..yeah,
..that's how I and my downline made it..however, when system started in the net
they were just a list of chores..you name it..
Now my system are different because of my Personal Development career..and was
used as training to develop with money..besides other parts..
Meaning, using monthly fees and using such fees as a return for that fee investment
10, 100, 1000 fold..
A great system can be develop here in the net using membership sites some are free
and to maintain it using traing articles but sticking to one thing to master it..
having free member sites it can be duplicated with a different type of article over and
over again..wanting to be involve in Network marketing it can also be use as a business
feeder meaning feeding those trained members to try what they have been learning..
while getting incomes up like crazy..
Multiplcation of sales is the key to become very very rich without any or little skills..
I use a force matrix but not mlm to guide the system in multiplying sales..more than
people..and of course the multiplying sales my way I can't plus sytem..
Joyce and Dave made some good points to such systems..

Re: Systems or Businesses
Chris,
Great question. My answer is a question or two: Why not both? Why must we choose either an effective system or a good business?
Unfortunatley, you are right. It does seem that the people who are making the most money are using a system that works regardless of how good (or bad) the products and comp plans are. And "systems" DO appeal to those who know little or nothing about marketing. I know because I was one.
However, once I was able to see through the systems' shortcomings (lack of support & training among them) I had the experience to judge the next, and the next "system", until I found one that worked. Same with a company and it's products and comp plan. Trial & Error can be expensive though and that alone may scare away many people & their sincere dreams.
A "great system" that piles in the recruits without all the other crucial pieces for success (most important of all your own persistent, not necessarily hard, work) will ultimately fail due to attrition. The "system" may get them in but what's to keep them in? Just money? Even the semi-enlightened know that money alone is not enough.
(There will always be those who believe it is enough - just witness the number of those offensive sites with the McMansions, the 300k alien-looking sports cars and the stacks of cash. Easy Come, Easy Go.
C'est la vie.)
If someone wants to build a BUSINESS that will last and become a source of CONTINUED revenue, paying out residual income year after year instead of lottery-like windfalls, there are necessary, crucial components it must have. Only one of those components is a SYSTEM.
Support & Training, great retailable products, and a comp plan that rewards (immediately and then deeply as well as wide) are all necessary for LONG-TERM success.
The choices are out there. The Tortoise or the Hare. We all know who won the race.
Build Slow & Steady. Live Your Dream & Own Your Life.
