My best advise. Put the blinders on to any other opportunity. YOUR opportunity is the one you joined because you saw the vision of what you wanted to accomplish utilizing that chosen vehicle. Regain, maintain and remain consistent in that vision. Learn to master "One" thing online. Most people are scattered and have 5 or 6 different PLACES or THINGS they are advertising and/or systems they are using. Others may have a system that is working somewhat and they never maximize the potential of it because they are peeking at other things out there. Master the system you are using. Stick with one System, tunnel once again your vision on what you are out to accomplish using that system and consistently do the things that bring results. Consistency is Key. Results is the name of the game. Oh, and honestly you must love people. Remember, People are your business, not your products or services.

My best advice is to find a system you can use everyday consistantly that even if you got just 1% return, it would pay for itself...that is both the time & investment you put in to be in business. You have to shop around until you find something that works. and yes, it might cost you some bucks along the way, but hey...this is business, right?

I have recently tested & invested in ListJoe, ListQuik and ListVolta for my recruiting and so far, I haven't gotten much success. It seems that everyone is trying to recruit everyone in their own oppportunity there that they lose focus on the most important thing of all...which is to build good relationships, create trust, value and offer tools, resources or services that may help others in building their business. I just want to share this thought with you and also share with you a nice tool that I came across just 2 days that should help with your business. The minute I saw it, I thought WOW... Anyone with any types of online business or service can definitely benefit from this service. In case you haven't heard of it, this service sends out 4,000 emails Per Day to your leads with literally 1 push of a button. Now, I've always been a huge fan of lead purchasing for my recruiting, but like many othet network marketers out there, I've never had enough time in the day to sit around and send only up to a multiple of 50 emails at one time using hotmail, yahoo or gmail. Thank God that one of my team leaders recently shared this service with me 2 days ago and now, I can just load my leads through this literally 3rd grade system, add my email Ad, and hit send, & Boom!..My Ads go out to 4,000 emails all at once. I just think that this is a great and convenient tool you can use to boost your business real fast. You can watch a quick video of the service @ http://www.americaninternetgroup.com/em ... uce007.php and by the way, I purchased my leads from this great lead company and they currently have a 3 to 1 deal through Sept. 30th. You can check out their site @ http://www.oppseekers.com/90265/home.php

Hope this helps in growing and improving your business!

Video!

It doesn't matter if you have a face "made for radio" as long as you can show value. I'm not sure what the percentage is, but all of my sites that have video out perform the "videoless" ones, by at least 70%.

If you show value as a leader and not a salesperson, people a more intrigued to see what you have to offer.

All of my blogs, most my sites and my personal sites also carry my youtube videos (more for when they search my name) which all are done in a more "leader" approach.

I have seen some of the craziest videos with people wearing wigs, alter egos and doing the craziest things, but if its entertaning and still get the right point across ...people will watch and come back for more.

Good Luck.

Great responses to this question.

Probably very basic for some of you, but us "Newbies" need very specific tips such as Richard's.

I'm a "planner" and totally understand the reverse engineering approach as well as setting quarterly quotas. But, my problem is ... didn't hit my goals last time and not sure what to do different (probably just "more"???).

Still plugging away every day, trying to do something constructive that will help my business.

Please keep it simple and be specific. Thank you in advance for all of the GREAT advice that you are going to share here.

Looking back, the best advice I can share is to learn to identify a good mentor/coach, and hang on to that person's coat tail :D

Blog: (30 mins) Write a post about your video, embed your Youtube video into the post, convert that post into an article, implement as part of your Article strategy.

Articles: (1 hour) write 3-5 articles, submit to top article sites.

FaceBook: (30 min) add 30-40 friends, comment on 5-10 friends.

BackLinks: (1 hour) 30-40 to money site, 15-20 to Twitter, Myspace, Squidoo, Forum profiles, etc.

Forums: (30 mins) Find 3-4 forums that fit your niche market, reply to 2 threads on ea., start 2 new threads on ea.

Twitter: (30 min) add 100 friends, Tweet 7-10x throughout the day (Tweet about & link to, everything you did that day - your articles, blog post, Myspace blog, invite to connect on Facebook, etc.)

 Pick and choose what best fits your personality.
If you don't like Facebook use Myspace. If you like LinkedIn, use that. My strong recommendation is that you have a cycle that looks something like this no matter which web 2.0 properties and media outlets you choose.
