Use everything you ever learned about being an excellent parent to your target market. Find out what they love, fear, struggle with, dream of, who they hang out with, and what they like to read. Show them that you are there to help them, support them,mend scrapes, give guidance, and believe in them.
The best parents are those who don't do the work for their children, but show them how to do it and encourage them along the way. I taught my 2 year old to fold socks, it was his job and he still loves to do laundry (he's 30 with two kids of his own).
My point: it's all about being committed to being the best leader you can. to nurture, give tough love and, God willing see them mature to great leaders themselves.
