For Those out their looking to build a list quick and fast it's called leverage. Find someone that already have a huge list and offer something of value to them. Ex. Create an evergreen product and you give all the cash they you would make to the guru in return you get to built your list. That's the quickest, cheap way to built a list.

Well Faithson, you left this pretty open to all kinds of interpretations. What are your niches? That is key here. If you are wanting to do affiliate marketing, you must first choose a niche and a product someone might like, and that requires some research. I have one I love because it helps any business create their presence online fast and pays 7 levels deep.

On the other hand if you wanted to be in direct-sales or MLM this would be a totally different conversation. So I think it needs clarification.

It depends on the quality that you require. If you need it "urgently" I'd say that you don't attempt to market to that list yourself... Your "urgency" (i.e. desperation) is going to leak out in your offer. Hire a professional to create your offer or do your pitch for you...

You are right Jerry! Desperation will only cause your marketing system to loose its quality.

I assume you already have product,capture page,website ect...if so there are some free ways to get more leads like using ibotoobox at http://apps.facebook.com/ibotoolbox/?ref=bookmarks&count=0there you will be posting blogs and running ads to like minded marketers. and if you do have a little money to work with you can go solo ads in ezines,but as said it takes some trial, but to save time you can invest in a tool

Everyone has basically covered it all, fast list building will sacrifice quality, their are some system's out there for generating you tons of leads fast and or that even give you free leads, but the quality again will be sub par. Find a company with a free system, free training, free lead generation tools, find out how they are building quality list's and do what they do, they are out there you just have to look. Hi, theres various ways of buiding your list quickly and a lot will depend on your budget. From my experience of buildingmy own lists I would recommend using Ezine Marketing and running various types of ads in these to reach your target market fast.

Social media seems to be the main one now. Get a Facebook and Twitter account to start with and start adding friends with common interests. Add your business details to your accounts but don't spam them to people or you'll lose them as friends. Once they're gone, they're gone!

Be social with people, interact with them make comments and reply to messages you receive. By building relationships with people they''ll come to like and trust you and then maybe by checking out your website they'll maybe like what they see and you could end up with a potential customer. The same applies with twitter too. I find there's so much spam out there now i don't even read it, just delete it.

There's also free ads. I find there either a hit or miss. For me they were a miss but others get results from them so its a case or trying them out for a month or two.

You could also try article writing. I find that you need to know how to write quality articles to get them accepted and as a newbie that isn't always easy. A lot of people don't have a way with words but can explain everything perfectly by talking to you.

So there's always video marketing. Its not everyones favourite but once a video is done and its out there it can be used over and over. It also shows the face behind the website, which people like to see too.

You could also try try the forums again interacting with people in the same line of business and again that's a definite no-no to spam but can be very useful.

If you have money you could try PPC pay per click with google, yahoo or bing. It can be expensive to do and you need to get your ad approved and use good keywords to get the clicks. Using paid advertising is certainly the fastest but using the above examples too will help you long term as well. A big list is great but a smaller list that buys from you is much better...

As a fairly novice affiliate marketer myself on a very low budget (actually, nil right now), I appreciate the comments related to warm markets like family and friends, which can dry up very quickly as we all know if you've been around awhile. While pursuing the common warm market approach, I'm broadening into lenses, articles, other forums, etc. However...any other free-to-low-budget suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Of course, building lists on social media platforms and marketing through those is a good freebie with good bang for the buck, since there's a viral marketing component built in.

The use of social media is a great way to go with great potential!

You want to give people something of value before they're going to want to do business with you! Find some knowledge that you can give away for FREE and post it somewhere. Better yet, use someone else's knowledge and become an affiliate.

not only will you be able to learn how to attract people to you with this book, you'll be able to make money with it while you build your list!

When i first started i was quick to introduce my business but now i use this technique,this is working for me, i think now whats in it for them, how can i help them.Do they need self development, do they need leads? Now that you know what they are looking for connect with them then make a recommendation on a product that has proven results.
