In my point of view Article marketing is a nice practice to acquire your desired ranking and traffic to your blog or website. Article Marketing is something very time consuming but a really result oriented activity.
It helps in a great deal if you are doing SEO for any website. It ensures results very fast n quick. Google also supports article writing if written fresh.

I have posted a few articles with Ezine. I have found them to be a reliable source of traffic for my blog month over month. I also agree that keyword research is important as well. You might as well write the article in one day, and spend as much time as is required to make sure they keywords are correct.
But you know, haven't been keeping up with it like I should. Sometimes it is difficult to come up with good article ideas when you are already brainstorming ideas weekly for your blog and youtube channel. Traffic is like the residual income of content creation. You can write a blog post once and it can generate traffic to your blog an marketing campaigns indefinately. That is the way I look at it.

I come up with the blog posts using a variety of methods. I am always reading and studying different marketing concepts. I outline ideas in books, and sometimes formulate them into something I can call my own. When you read 1 hour everyday, the ideas I get from many books kinda mesh together to form my own ideas. I will also report on my personal experiences. When you are learning constantly, other people's ideas mesh together and become your own unique perspective.
