Now that you got your small business up and running online and offline, let's improve on that technique.
Once you got it running, hire a company to do the business for you. They can be hired to call a list of leads for you. They are more experienced in talking to people and because of their experience, they are better at doing what they do. A company can work for you 24/7 and get better results far more greater than you doing it alone.
Just think how much one person can do in their space time versus a company can do in 24/7 with experience in getting the results that you want.
It may take years to build a downline with that much magnitude. Now your downline can be built faster with the aid of a company doing the work for you.

Re: How to grow your small business online
Unlike in the real world, where the mom-and-pop shop has been replaced by the big, corporate store in your neighborhood, the Internet is a little more accommodating. In fact, having a good online strategy for your small business may help you avoid going the way of the traditional bricks-and-mortar small or family-owned business.
First, an absolute must – get a website! It amazes me the number of small businesses that do not have a legitimate web presence. There’s nothing worse than businesses that appear on Google Local or Google Maps, but don’t have a website for users to find more information. If a person is searching online, then provide the information for them online. If they need to call, it’s generally as a last resort. Why alienate customers before they’ve ever had a chance to interact with you? Not having a website in 2010 is the equivalent of having an unpublished number for your pizza delivery business – it’s just not a model for success!

I totally agree with Jared. Spend 80% of your time marketing and less than 20% of your time reading and learning. For the first few months I did it the other way around and spent $1,000s on training and tons of hours reading and watching training videos. When I finally started marketing for my free 2 hours a day I started seeing better results plus I was less stressed from information overload.

This is aGood Thread...
There are some Great Comments here, I would say 80% Marketing, 20% Networking, using a Combination of Facebook, Google, Linkedin, Twitter, Yahoo & You Tube, is Ideal. Obviously Back up with Follow Up Phone calls, To Help Cement in The Relationship
Applied Education is the Difference

Re: How to grow your small business online
It depends on what kind of business we are to grow online. Different businesses, different requirements, and different strategies. If you have a brick and mortar business that you are trying to expand using online strategies, then that's very different to having an affiliate business which mainly earns you commissions promoting other people's products online.

I agree with you Sean. Training is very important. I also agree with everyone else about finding a mentor. Training is only so good... you need to apply what you are training on and if you have a mentor that can teach you how to do that, it will greatly benefit your business practices.

Indeed!! I spent a few weeks just reading and training before I even posted my first blog! Finding the right training is a bit daunting but that is just apart of the process. Have patience! Learn! Launch the techniques. Read and learn more. Connect with others. Tweek your process and grow!
