Re: The Four Internet Niches that Make Tons of Money
Here's the interesting part, this guy that kills it money wise, still wonders what it all means and if this is all there is to life. If you do things just for the money, you can possibly get your wish just to realize it wasn't MONEY that was really what you were after. Money does not make your problems go away, however, if you are doing something you love, and make that profitable, you are going to have a much better time mentally on this world (just my opinion)

No one can argue with that. The thing is, doing something you love may not be profitable. It may not even bring the results you'd like. And, in fact, you may not even be good enough to do it for living at all.
So, I say - do what you must do so you can keep doing what you love. If doing what you love is enough - excellent! If not, don't be shy to promote "colon cleansing"...

actually I know people that love colon cleansing as a business, because the results, not because the process, and meanhile they make great money.
I think for long term results and great income, you must love what you do! If you don't love what you do, then eventually the money would be irrelevant.

Some people actually think that you should avoid doing for living what you love, because eventually it will become a chore. I personally do not think so. But I believe, that there always will be things you simply must do, regardless of whether you like them or not, in order to be able to do what you love.
Doing what you love and doing it for living very rarely comes as a one simple activity. The basic example would be running your own business. There are so many things you need to take care of, from marketing, to bookkeeping to selling... You get the point. How many people can say they love all those things? Many people would just outsource what they do not like doing, but then again, what if you do not like outsourcing, and all the things that come with it (like managing the freelancers, posting the jobs etc).
In most cases, you can keep doing what you love only if you are willing to also do things you do not love.

It is with anything! Everything we love has a trade-off, I try to outsource what I don't like, but I love the satisfaction of what I do even if involved some activities that I am not too excited about, but the results and satisfaction are the payoff, and I love that!

As I said in my previous post when talking about doing things we do not like doing:
"However, if it makes nice money; if your effort pays off, then it actually can turn into quite an enjoyable experience. So the enjoyment can come from seeing results."
So as it turns out, we actually mean the same thing

Re: The Four Internet Niches that Make Tons of Money
I think it is a balance on the doing what you love argument.
I know a guy who makes 20g a month blogging about making money from blogging. That is a niche I'd enjoy writing in, just cause I have always been fascinated with different ways to make money outside of a job and traditional means (stocks, real estate etc.) probably why I love network marketing as a niche.
On the other hand, I know a lady who makes much less than that blogger but has way more time freedom because she chooses niches that are just easy to dominate and then she sells an ebook about that niche to desperate buyers. She says there is no passion at all for her in the subject she is writing on, but in her favor she gets to do whatever probably more than the other guy haha.
In a sense, when it comes to business, it is almost better to be more passionate about the process moreso than than the actual niche or product in someways.
