What is your favourite personal development book?

Postby Ceri Wood on Thu Jul 14, 2011 2:19 pm

I know it's a bit of an obvious one, but I thought it would be a good question to get this new forum going.

What is your favourite personal development book?

Mine is 'How To Win Friends And Influence People' by Dale Carnegie. :)

I have so many favorites but I have found that its important to start from the beginning. And the book I wish I knew about first is "The Slight Edge" By Jeff Olson.

I have so many favorite books that it can't be counted. Recently I read this book "The Kite Runner", which is a bestseller.

I do have several books that have become my personal favorites.
First, is the 'Think and Grow Rich' by Napoleon Hill. By this book, I have learned that I can achieve anything I want. Now, that I have that ability, I do think twice about getting what I want. Building a successful business does takes a lot of personal development. I really want to be prepared for this accomplishment.
The second book I just completed is 'Change Your Brain Change Your Body' by Dr. Daniel Amen. The things that your brain can do for you can change everything in your life.
These are the two most used and important books I can recall. There are many others coupled with products from my affliate company have enriched my life and improved my health.
I would recommend any of these books and products to anyone with much excitement!

I read the 'How To Win Friends And Influence People' by Dale Carnegie a while ago and it is really good. One book I've rea recently which is really good is the 4 hour work week by Timothy Ferriss. Puts a good spin on life in general. Its good to hear from people who can recommend great if anyones got any anothe suggestions?

We have read so many personal development books through the years and all have made an impact on our self- growth.

The ones that were listed by the other members are great books. Some other ones that stand out to us are the ones by Napoleon Hill: Success through a Positive Mental Attitude, Keys to Success.

Let's also not forget, The Treasury of Quotes by Jim Rohn

Two recent books that we just finished, which will also be added to our favorites list: The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy, Start With Why by Simon Sinek.

One of the first books I started out with was one my mother gave me back when I was in high school. The book is called, 'Helping Yourself with Psychosymbology", by Theodor Laurence.
Every time I read one of my books I date it in the front and watch what happens next!
I like psychological books to learn how to explore the mind and how it works.
With these books anything is possible!

Sound good Mario I like books like that give you more belief and give you a more positive mindset. Has anyone read Robert Allens Multiple Streams of Internet Income, heard loads about it recently some good reviews and some bad so wasnt sure whether to bother with it
