• Find the right products/solutions/services YOU want to promote. – That phase is a long and very important. Remember the 5 areas or segments I asked you to right down earlier? Well now is the time to start searching for some business generating programs to monetize your experience.
The 2 most well known marketplaces to find such products or services are: clickbank and commission junction. There is a lot more out there for you and the variety of opportunities is vast and actually endless.
Before you even considering going into those 2 Hugh marketplaces or even search in the web for more, you must complete your education as I noted at the beginning. It is Vital for you to complete your education and learn everything you can before dealing with products. I am mentioning this because most of beginners are running fast and do skip some steps, choosing products to promote, don’t see any results, get pissed off and leave the business with bad feelings. – It is a well known cycle. Don’t run, slow down, and build it properly – your just starting your business. You can go there and browse through the categories and get a first impression but choose yet.
• Write something and publish – Some people have the talent to write and some don’t. The power of the written word is tremendous. You will reach and touch lots of people while they'll read your thoughts, your recommendations, your ideas, and your story. The Story is very important – It will give people an idea of who you are? What do you think of a specific issue? They might even ask you for more info and you will create relations with that person.
Writing is very good but publishing in not less important. In the internet you can potentially reach millions of people but you need to learn how to attract readers to read your article. For that reason you need to publish your STORY in the right place where readers search for information on your area of expertise. Some of those places are called Forums, E-zines, Blogs and Articles web sites. Again I will take you back to the beginning where education is. If you want some place where you can post and publish your Story you can do it Blogger, WorldPress, e-zine articles and there are so many more. Please stick to the rules and educate yourself first.
• Monetization and Traffic - Once you did all the steps above, you are ready to make some money out of it. This process is known as Monetization. You want to create streams of money to your bank account whenever someone purchased any of the products/solutions/services you promoted.
In order to do that you need to bring lots of Traffic to your web-site. You want more and more visitors to know you, your Story, your recommendations and what your offering is. You definitely don’t want to supply all of that at once. Remember, we are in the relations building phase. Build it slowly and safe.
Attracting Traffic in one of the biggest challenges Internet Marketers face today. There is so many offerings and so many programs that a single person will get overwhelmed and finally ran away. Creating traffic to your site is strategic for you and you want to do it right. There are 2 main routes to bring Traffic to your site. The first is AdWords – you simply register (it is free) and you BUY traffic according to your selection of keywords. Well this is a bit technical and I do advise you to learn it before dealing with it. Most people do pay for traffic or in this case for advertisement but don’t get the required conversion rate to cover their costs. You will need to learn how to tweak your campaigns before even starting.
The second way is the Organic Traffic – Do you remember all the above phases? Remember when I asked to write your STORY? I do believe you even published it. Well do not forget to insert a link to your web site and your unique email address so people with return to you – these people are traffic. The best traffic, they are organic – they came to you because you are interesting. They want to know more about you, more from you and oh by the way, they did not cost you anything.
The web is full of programs who will sell you traffic and will move traffic to your site but again – do not tempt to register to any of them at this point. You will have the chance later on to do that. One last thing on this issue – there are some programs that will bring you traffic for free but again I will not promote them here and you free to ask me about them off-line.
