There are tons of post's all over the forums about free marketing system's, co-ops, etc all of which I have looked at ( i like checking out new things ) but I have not noticed very many post's about the real way to build your GDI business so here it is, free.

#1) Your sponsor matters, join someone with a proven system or method with great value for you and all of the affiliates you bring in to the system. GDI is very serious about sponsors actually doing things to help their downlines and if your's is not doing you any good and your going nowhere, you can contact GDI and request a sponsorship switch.

#2) If you are completely content with your sponsor/upline there are some very useful ways of recruiting out there, use FREE services such as traffic exchanges, safelist's, classified's etc... There are TONS of free advertising methods, I offer a free training course on all of these methods for my team, but I am sure you can find free training in other places.

#3) Create Reviews, if you are using GDI and you love it, create a review about it and give people who are considering it some useful information about it ( BE HONEST ) people can sense fake from a mile away. ( DO NOT TRY TO SELL ) you are not selling your business in a review you are providing useful information and value to the reader and if that reader trust's and likes what you have to say he will join you. ( Always leave your referral ID in the signature/contact section of the review.

#4) Free Marketing System, I know I mentioned free marketing system's in my first sentences and the truth is, they are EVERYWHERE. Most of them are terrible and attempt to cross-sell, up-sell and over-sell throughout the whole system, DO NOT pay money for a marketing system UNLESS you have done your research and you know you are going to get great value. Some free marketing systems are VERY useful and powerful, I won't mention names but I am sure you can google or youtube and find several. The system I use is a free feeder program that promotes GDI for you on auto-pilot. It offers free leads, free training, free resources and tools and I found it by searching on craigslist one day . I use 4 marketing system's all with different things to offer but they all work and generate 100 new leads every day with about an hour of work.

#5) Help your downline! When you sponsor someone help them, give them all of the tactics you have been using, show them the free leads, the free systems, the trainings, the webinars EVERYTHING... Keep them exciting and wanting more.

**listen, its not a miracle that the same people are on the top of the leaderboards every week, it starts with doing everything on this list and being part of a winning team or system, if its FREE its going to require work so be willing to work for it, that being said if you want any other info or help you can email me or PM me**

Yes that is important. Now I am using one marketing system.
The marketing system owner is Tim Sebert.

What I can say: great guidance, great tools and it does work nicely.

Also do you promote opp. with own capture page
or do you promote your system?

Which method you think is better?

Personally I promote the system 80% of the time, however there are times where promoting the opp itself is a better fit. Guess it really just depends on the type of advertising you are doing and the market you are trying to reach.

Great Post!

I have to admit I'm addicted to making these feeder systems and I'm almost ready to launch my latest and greatest. It's already in the hands of a few beta testers and I've been tweaking it to maximize conversions with their suggestions. I would really love an honest opinion on it since you've tried more than a few.

Hi Terry

I understand much of what you are saying here, can you be more specific about your team methods.

I've joined a team (Team Elite),and I am marketing with a few other teams (co-op, canrecruit). After a number of Months I only have a few downline members to show for the effort. I understand things take time, but at this rate the effort is not worth the prize.

I'm looking at other methods of marketing, and learning what I can. My suspicion is I need to go off on my own, outside the afore mentioned team concept methods, to get what I'm looking for.

Yes, I would agree "your sponsor matters" but who is your sponsor? Go take a look in the mirror ! that is YOUR sponsor. When You join GDI and you email your entire upline to no avail, then what, This is how I started,well you can either say "F" it and give or stick it out and hunt for the leader's and if your lucky enough to find a true leader like I did " Vincent Parker" was a godsend. his site and the information he has put together for the "newbies" is outstanding. He is on whom I can truly say lives by the GDI motto, You can have everything you want in life if you just HELP enough other people to get what they want.

BTW, JOE your DLC rocks, looking forward to more updates...

I'm just an average marketer and I know I can CRUSH it if this was my fulltime gig but I don't want to be a FULLTIME RECRUITER. Has anyone really talked to their upline? The drop out rate is really high even for a $10 per month opportunity. To sustain a level of income means becoming a fulltime recruiter... PERIOD!

That's why I spend my time creating systems for DUPLICATION that I wish was out there. I only wish GDI affiliates can take the time to fully appreciate what I did with the Duplicate Like Crazy system. I feel it's my best attempt at an EASY, FREE & FAIR recruiting system for GDI affiliates.

I agree the effort and time it takes to build your downline seems like it may take a life time! It is hard to attract people with the same mentality of " I don't need to look at any new ways of making GDI work. It works the same way as every MLM company. Approach invite repeat". It is these very narrow minded people who make it harder for us to recruit. I need a system that will make it easier for me to bring traffic to my website without doing that much work. It is hard for me finding the time to do all this work because either I am too busy or let's be honest just to LAZY to do the work. Who can find the time now a days? That is why I am excited for Joe's launch of GDI the SMARTWAY launching on November 11, 2011. The DLC sounds like an amazing idea and sounds like a system for me with the qualities I'm looking for in a system which is Easy, Free(my favorite price), and Fair. Good job Joe I can't wait for the launch!
