Ok I'm confused.
I am using masking for my MD affiliate stuff and someone just emailed me this message:

You might want to be careful with masking your portal. Affiliate payouts could be effected due to the mask.
MS MLM Domain Secrets download also states this which is found in your back office. Says it could do up to 50% damage. Re-Direct is the way to go.

Is this true? I thought I heard somewhere that it wouldn't affect affiliate accounts?

Does anyone know?

I redirect all my links. I have a domain set up mainly to handle my affiliate links and the redirects.

I have many Domain Names that redirect the visitor to the website I want them to go to.

I also use redirects. I am just not sure if it counts a backlink if you link to a redirect url. Would be nice if anyone here could answer that.

Is re-direct the same thing as forwarding URL?

You should skim thru your websites cpanel well its easy to spot for redirects
