Hi there all,
Question - hope it doesn't sound too dumb. I've recently purchased MS and love it. After reading it once, I am now on my second time through highlighting what seems like every second sentence...it is truly great stuff!
Anyway, my question comes from half way down page 40, when Mike is talking specifics about 'The Five Franchise Components'. 'Number 4: The Retail Product. The retail product your system markets should be intimately connected with your opportunity...' Mike then goes on to give an example of the retail product being a "how to" for succeeding in a home business. Further along on page 44 it says 'The product should be in harmony with your opportunity' etc...
When Mike says 'intimately connected to your opportunity', he doesn't mean that you should be selling vitamins (or whatever your MLM business is) as your retail product, does he? Your opportunity is the MLM business, right? So we should be doing what we are all here to learn...we should be teaching people how to build a successful home business...positioning ourselves as the leader. The vitamins don't matter until further down the track, right?
OK, that's it - thanks for your help.

Yes sir, like he said before, people don't buy on logic, they buy on emotion and then justify it with logic. Sure, there are times when they won't but your main product but with magnetic sponsoring, they buy whether or not they buy your main product; and if they don't, then they weren't the right person anyways and it would just be a hassle. I like that M.S. separates the serious from the curious. But keep reading, more stuff will hit you. Good luck!

It's so interesting that during your 10th read you'll feel Mike added stuff to it while the manuscript was in your drawer !
You're right on the ball!
