Is anybody successful with their warm market?

Postby Rick Salas on Sat Jan 17, 2009 2:26 am

I know there is probably an easy answer to this but I read a post by Estoroch talking about how to correctly approach people. We want to interview them but do you guys give them a card like it was recommended and if so if you're in Magnetic Sponsoring what should the card say on it? Is anybody having success with their warm market or is it better to concentrate only to online prospects? I have never tried the MS approach with my warm market but sounds like it could be profitable.

Face to face direct marketing is pretty much dead. I mean if you run into a friend or want to leave your card with some one after meeting up sure but for the most part you're going to be dealing with online networking especially if you are new to the game.

But remember, especially on these social networking sites the same social rules apply as to real life. I mean first impressions are everything, if you come across as someone who instantly pitches your business op. it will definitely send a message.

I just had 40 people join my business last month (december) from warm market. Most of these were friends of people in my team who were business asscoiates. So warm market marketing is still alive and well.

I think people can have success with their warm market. But it depends on their skills, past experiences before joining mlm, the number of people they know, the segments or circles of people they are in..etc. If you are good at asking for refferals from all people that you show them business and even from other people, your list would never be out. But here we are not inside warm market already. So yes, we can have success with our warm market, but regarding numbers, we can't build massive organization. There is no diamond that built his business only with his warm market. That's my opinion.

Hi there - the way forward is definitely adding value and incorporating the magnetic sponsoring philosophy. I had a number of what I thought were "warm prospects" in my pipeline but got absolutely nowhere with them. Then I sent them a note telling them how we could be of value to them because we had a tried and tested system that could guarantee them success and almost instantly I had replies to my note asking for more information.

I wish I'd come across Magnetic Sponsoring years ago. It's a great training tool - I'm sure I'd be in a different position now!

Warm market is very much alive and well, if you know how to approach them properly. It's all in the training.

Define Warm Market if you mean family and friend you have in your day to day life I am sure some people are successful. But I would gather it would depend on how you approach them what you product really is ect. I think often if you have a good products to offer some would be successful IF their warm market has a need for such product.

Now I really believe that you can create an entirely New type of warm market online though Networking and social contacts. I believe if you add People to your contact list create new relationships and REALLY get to know the people behind the keyboard you can do just that.

I have been a social networker long before Ryze, Facebook or My Space to be honest. This is nothing NEW if you are a natural Networker at heart. You Grow your virtual Roledex based not on what you want to SELL someone but on mutual respect and a desire to help and support them and out of that come contacts, leads, referral and yes SALES, Affiliates, and Downlines if that is what your looking for. But IMHO it is a Mutual give and take online and Keyboard to Keyboard is as important as face to face you need to work on building the relationships.

But the 3 foot rule thank god doesn't work online very well because if someone just want to SELL me I can delete their messages or remove them from my contact lists, or boot them from my chatroom.

I have been building My Warm Market online since 1999.

It's designed to change their perspective of you. Your warm market is a good source if you've cultivated a respectable image. If they love you, but see you as a follower, then they won't be that responsive.

With new contacts, or people whom I know but don't have contact information, I don't even carry any cards. I tell them I don't carry many because I don't solicit much and am all out- that way I can ask for theirs. I want their card more than I want to give them mine.

Thanks Bill for re-affirming what I supsected. People are puzzled why they get rejected by their friends and family. It is because you are marketing your service and product from a sales person's perspective. They may trust your sincerity but they don't trust the salespeople who duped you into thinking the product or opportunity that you are selling is great. They bascially think that you may have been had. Until they believe you had ample capacity to draw independent views of the service and opportunity, they won't join your opportunity or purchase your product.
If your service or product helps small businesses, E-mail me at Justice44@rocketmail.com and explain how it can help. I may know someone who may need it.
