I have read Magnetic Sponsoring and Building On A Budget.

I joined to MLMLeadSystemPro, and while I know that Mike Dillard wrote these books specifically for the mlm community,

Yet everywhere I look online everyone is using these principles in their business.

From digital product creators, affiliate marketers, and even the so-called blue collar businesses like printers, plumbers, contractors, etc,

all want to have a online presences and use attraction marketing principles to attract customers.

And it seems to me that attraction marketing principals will work in every niche I have loooked at.

So my question is, why is it that all those teaching these principles only market to mlmers? I feel like a spy every time I attend a webinar that MLMLeadSystemPro Presents.

Since these principles seem to work in every niche I have looked at, Why do the people teaching it only market to the network marketing niche?

Good question... I feel like you are right on this... even though I have very little experience with local, national, and global direct marketing industries (people who market products, and services.)... I am still learning how it all works..

Hello Tim!

The principles taught are applicable in any business.

My wife and I are Real Estate Agents and are using the "Attraction Marketing" principles in our business...along with my MLM.

It works. People don't want to be sold anything but they love to buy. Attraction Marketing lets them make the decisions.

I think the reason why a lot of this is geared towards MLMers is because when most people join an MLM, they are taught old school methods. That is, go out and prospect everyone you know within a 3 foot radius. And, essentially they end up "throwing up" all over people. What I mean by that, is they don't build a relationship, they just go out and sell, sell, sell. I don't know about you, but I personally don't like being sold to. And, even I will run away from people who try to outright market their business to me.

There is a stigma with MLM and people know it. It's not the same with traditional business or brick and mortar business.

So, I believe these principles can be applied to any business, but it's the newbie MLMers that need it the most and it's a larger target audience to capture.

Timothy I've been a traditional bricks and mortar business for over 20 years, and have found that the principles of Magnetic Sponsoring and the new model of attraction marketing work quit well for me.

I don't think that Magnetic Sponsoring is MLM industry specific by any means, as long as you have an internet presence via a blog or website the principles of attraction can work for any business type, good post.

You are quite perceptive with the question you posed. I would agree with the other responses I read. As a strategic marketing executive who is new to network marketing, I would agree the principles taught in Mike Dillard's courses do in fact apply to other industries. I currently consult with small and mid-sized companies and the marketing strategies and tactics many of my clients successfully utilize dovetail with Mike's strategies.

No. it's not just for MLMr's. In our Wellness Center we use it to market for our niches of Golf Improvement and soon Youth Gymnastics. Put together the TF principles and we shall see....
I think the part that many people miss is the "How to" become the Alpha Networker. or Alpha (anything) for that matter.

Just to throw in my two cents, I agree completely with previous responses and would like to add something. Being a "Baby Boomer" I saw my father, both as an independent grocer and in other customer service businesses, use the same principles before they had a name.

Provide a valued service, build a relationship and that's the way you built a business. If I go in a local hardware store for instance, I seek out the "clerk" that I know can add value (solve my problem). The next time I go back I will "magnetically" ? be drawn to them for their "value".

These may be crude examples but I believe it is the same principle.

I want to Thank all of you who gave a answer to my post. I was so afraid that it was a dumb question but it just seemed to me that Magnetic Sponsoring applied to every business I looked at.

I am so glad that I joined Better networkers because I know that I will learn from the best. And that is each and everyone of you.

Again thank you all so much for the answers you provided to my post. You all have increased my confidence level by at least 75%.

And I will continue on and become a success in network marketing as long as I can learn from wonderful people like all of you.

I no longer have an MLM business, but I am NOT giving all the money back that Mike paid me for Magnetic Sponsoring sales I made. And yes, I use the principals every day for other projects.
