I'm still in the learning mode and probably will be for the rest of my life:)

As far as using pages that aren't branded with their company name or product brand names (ie. Artistry), they weren't cool with that either.

I even tried to get an article page approved that was just about general skin care products (that mentioned nothing about them), and they said that all IBO's would need to get it approved individually if they used it for their business.

In their policy, you also can even use a call to action...even something general like click here to learn more. So what did I do? I just used in-content links (linking out from the text: skin care products to the IBO product page) without any call to action and they were still fussy with that.

Looking back at my emails, I communicated with Tanya Thomas (she reviews web content), Sue Reintges, and somebody named Norma in Rules Administration.

I couldn't have said it any better Charles.

Amway has been around for so long and have been through so many law suits that they would rather have unhappy IBO's then go through another suit.

It is a very tough company to use if you are looking to utilize the internet. At the meetings they still promote spending a day in the mall and contacting people. Sorry, but I couldnt do it. Its just not my personality.

If that is your personality and you don't mind doing it their way then you will find some great leadership within the company. The leaders really will go out of their way to help you. Even if you are not directly in their business.

Yes, very true Dan and Charles.

Amway can be tough with regarding Internet. And yes, they still do teach prospecting with families, friends, people you bump into, and building list, phoning up. The usual stuff.

And it can be hard going if your personality, values of this doesn't go with it.

I feel, in all honesty, from being in Amway, is if a person wants to go full on using Internet, using capture pages, sales letters etc - then Amway might be very difficult to do it with due to their policies right now.

They strict and can close ones account.

Weird thing for me, is I've used the Internet and though I share knowledge base stuff like building capture pages, how to use stuff softwares, I get leads from this for amway products. I know, weird, but that's how it has worked for me.

Personally, I won't promote any MLM company name but my own and the skills and values. And worked this way for me.

But I do agree, for others, it be hard going.

There is double standard though, because Amway using facebook, sharing stuff on their products etc.

So one rule for them and one rule for distributors.

There is a way though but I feel, many are not patiant enough to learn how to do so online, not having the mindset to invest in the learning to do it, and patiance.

I have a lot of patiance and well, I've had no problem getting prospects, customers online. But I haven't been using Amway or internet for months but years. So you kind of know other ways of doing thing, without ever mention amway, using capture pages, optin forms too.

Comes with experience.

I'm sure Amway has tight policies, but just about any company will hunt you down if you use their trademarks on your websites or any other online presence. MS teaches us to be generic because Mike knows this is a hot legal issue.

And yet, Mr. Adam Taha is proof that success with Amway is possible online. If you watch him closely, you'll find that his methods aren't far from what is taught in MS: Don't use trademarks; Be generic; Build your leads through relationships and not through branding etc etc...

Mr. Taha's online marketing is bulletproof and nearly untraceable by Amway (not that he's doing it on purpose... of course not. But that's how generic he is when adding value) and therefore they can't tie him down.

Bottom Line: You can promote any MLM business online, as long as you do it right.

...Heck, the same goes for promoting it OFFLINE: if you do it right, it'll work. But most of us BN's prefer online. Just stick around long enough to learn the trick of the trade.

Good luck to you!
